How do you do it? Do you use a battery pack? I've got the Medela pump in style and want to try pumping in the car when I start work next week. I think pumping on my 20 min drive would really help me out, but I worry about the battery suction not being strong enough. Also, do the batteries tend to die quickly?

i have a car charger that i use. battery pack is okay, but i don't think it's as strong? i've only used the battery pack a couple times for mine. i have a hygeia.

The batteries will die to fast. It's best to get a car adapter. They're reasonably priced on amazon. I usually only pumped in the car, because otherwise I needed my hands to take care of a bambino!

I had a power inverter for the car that plugged into the cigarette lighter. It's useful enough that I can use it for other devices in the car for long trips as well. My pump worked well, and I never had to worry about the power like I would using a battery pack.

We have an inverter like @Yin. It's perfect and has a USB port to charge phones at the same time.
