Do they or will they have matching (twin, etc) beds?

We want to move LO 2 into a twin soon but we are not sure if we want to buy her the same bed as LO 1. The bed has a footboard (annoys me for bed making purposes) and is really high up. I figure that they won't share a room forever so a few years of "mismatched" beds will be ok. (my mom disagrees! )
