Babies are doing well! They are now breathing room air (no more CPAP for baby girl).
I was able to try to breastfeed both of them today. With preemies sometimes they can't suck, swallow and breath. This morning (with the help of a nipple shield) they were able to suck. They didn't get much milk because I unfortunately developed a post surgery anemia and I had to get a blood transfusion. I was able to get one drop of colostrum on the first night they were born. But got nothing for the days following. Turns out since I was anemic, my body was not going to produce any milk for the babies. I got the blood transfusion yesterday and I'm feeling much better now. I'm able to get more milk now. The babies will be supplemented with formula until I build up more of a supply.

@bluestriped bee: hooray!!! That is a great update. Room air is a great thing!! Are they regulating their temps ok? That was hard for E (harder then breathing). Glad you are feeling better post transfusion. Sounds like you are all doing very well. Btw they are completely adorable.

@MrsRcCar: Thanks. So they are both still in isolettes but are both now wearing clothes. I was told once the can somewhat regulate their body temp they can go from wearing a diaper to wearing a onesie.
