And not because I don't enjoy nursing. I do ! I am just so over this over supply And stressing over if LO is getting enough hind milk. I think it will be so much easier and I will feel so much better when I can pump myself empty each time and know for a fact he is getting the hind milk too.
Anyone else feel this way ?

I'm sorry about the oversupply! I know what a pain that can be as I struggled with that for WEEKS. Have you tried block feeding? I did this for a few days and it helped tremendously. I don't mind pumping, but I find nursing so much easier...are you going to exclusively pump?

No! Haha. I am so glad I will be over pumping soon.... I hate pumping and cleaning the parts. Can't wait to retire them.

@NovBaby1112: we do block feed and that has helped !!! I really enjoy nursing so I do plan on nursing in the mornings and evenings when I start back to work

@coacheswife123: sounds like a good plan! I did find that around the 3 month mark my supply really stabilized, my boobs weren't so full feeling all of the time, even though there was still a lot of milk in there. So there is hope for your oversupply yet!

I did in the beginning! Pumped almost exclusively (nursed 1-2x a day) for the first 2 months. Once I had an idea of how much I was producing and baby was getting I started nursing and DS just gets a bottle before bedtime so he doesn't go on a bottle strike.
Pumping became such a chore. Plus I didn't like having to take bottles with me if we went out.

I think I have a little bit of an oversupply issue too. Sometimes I think pumping and bottle-feeding (though not exclusively) would be nice 1) for my nipples sake! and 2) so baby doesn't end up with milk all over her face!
