I had it once in a while but would order mild. But when she was older. But LO always had a sensitive tummy and was extremely gassy. But actually I don't see why not. Indians BF too!

I've never had a problem with it but I'm convinced E has a steel stomach--he's never been bothered by anything I eat (or that he eats, now).

Not for me. I ate super spicy food while pregnant and still do while nursing and LO doesn't react at all.

I would definitely eat it! I don't limit anything food-wise, so far so good.

It just depends on the baby. Neither of mine were particularly sensitive to anything I ate, so I just ate what I enjoyed.

It is basically trial and error to find out if your baby can tolerate it.

I ate a ton of spicy food pregnant and breastfeeding, no problems. In fact, DS now loooves spicy food, too!

I had Mexican cravings while pregnant and for the first several weeks pp, and indulged those cravings constantly. Never bothered D!

It was never a problem for me. Plus some of the spices commonly used in Indian cooking (like fenugreek) are great for milk production

Yup. I ate a ton of spicy food while pregnant, so I think LO is used to it.

I ate indian food a bunch of times during the early newborn days. It was what sounded good to me!

i ate spicy all the time, and it never bothered LO, but he was a very easy going baby in general

Yep, I eat (ate) it all the time-- although I have had to stop due to milk protein intollerance and all the dishes I like have dairy. Boo.
