-This is directed to those of us with IF. -

I've seen comments here and there from IF users about feeling the need for more privacy. It's a small number, but since I've been on the IF boards for over two years now, that I've seen the need of it comes and goes.

I'm not saying that the IF boards should be private. Not at all, but sometimes I feel guilty for some of the thoughts that have crossed my mind and how non-IFers could misunderstand or judge our thoughts.

I don't think there will be a HB solution to this (since it's probably too complicated) but I wanted to ask other IFers about it and see what they think.

From my point of view, I'm very open about IF awareness. You all know that but there are times when I feel shy about it. Sometimes I don't feel like promoting IF. I feel like hiding under a blanket and getting support from others who have been in my situation. I know that this can be the opposite of IF awareness if we 'hide' our comments from others, but I, also, understand that not all of us want to come out and announce that they have IF. Which I understand completely.

Does anyone else feel this way?

How do you feel about our privacy?
