I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with compounded hormones?

before and during my last pregnancy, my doctor had me on HCG because of low E and P (before) and RPL (during).

I have some leftover pre-filled syringes in the fridge, but I'm sure they're "expired" (I think I got them in July)

But they're also expensive! Has anyone asked their doctors/had experience with injectible drugs, expiration dates, and what the expiration dates really mean?

I mean, if it at all looks odd I obviously won't use it.

We're not TTC yet, we're just trying to normalize my cycles. So even if it's a "strength" issue, I don't think that would matter as much. But I don't want to inject myself with something that will obviously harm me.
