1. What is the cost per week/month? At what age do the rates change?
2. How much do you charge if I’m late to pick up my child?
3. What is a typical day like?

7. When would an infant “move” up to the next room?
8. What is your policy regarding sick kids? Do you send kids home at the first hint of a sniffle, or do you wait until a child has a fever?

11. Can I make unannounced visits to see/ observe my child? Is there a nursing room?

13. Does staff have first-aid training? Infant and child CPR?
14. What is your staff turnover rate?
15. What is the policy for background checks when hiring employees? Is this ever done periodically after they are hired? Do you check other states?
16. Are staff allowed to smoke on site?
17. How much notice is needed if I decide to switch day cares?
18. What is your billing policy? Do you provide receipts for income tax credits?
