I feel like most experienced babysitters are comfortable watching more than 1 kid? We've only dealt with 2 babysitters thus far and they both had no problems with two kids - even when our second was under 1.

right now I only have my parents and dhs parents watch lo. When we have another baby I know my mom will be fine watching both. She has 3 kids of her own and she always wants to watch lo and her baby granddaughter together, but I don't let her because lo is such a handful. But shell be older and more independent by the time we have #2.
Dhs parents usually babysit together so they would have one adult per child.

We struggled with this until we discovered that a lot of daycare providers are happy to sit your kids!
We haven't taken them up on it, but when the time does we will definitely ask them!

I 2nd what @mrbee said. I have about 5 names of ladies at DDs daycare that continue to offer to give us a break.
