BEES! I need your help.

For the past week, my three-month old has been refusing to sleep during the day. I am not kidding, she will go seven hour stretches during the day without sleeping. During this time, she refuses to lay her head down. It is almost as if she can't sit still. She is just super uncomfortable, tense, and fusses on and off (occasionally screams the entire time she's awake, but that's more rare).

This morning while I was at work, my husband called and said she had been awake for almost five hours. Her eyes were blood shot and she had puffy circles under her eyes, but she wouldn't sleep. He told me that he thinks it is because I had coffee, and the caffeine is keeping her awake.

Is this possible? Will cutting out caffeine make her be able to sleep better?
If not, why is she being so crazy and making my life so difficult? How can a three-month old refuse to sleep?
