I left a 3oz bottle of breast milk for my ILs today. They heated up the bottle but she refused it. They put it back in the fridge.
I'm wondering of it's still OK to freeze?!

Did her mouth touch the milk? Aka through the nipple?
If not... I believe that's still okay.
If her mouth did touch the milk than yeah might have to dump it.

I always tossed it after heating if it wasn't drank in an hour. Feels like a waste for sure though.

I would check kelly mom. If she took a few sips I would toss it. If she didn't I would probably use within a few days but I wouldn't freeze after it's been warmed.

You're all better than I! As long as it didn't start out frozen, its all good to go back in the fridge or freeze as far as I'm concerned.

You can use it within 24 hours. I wouldn't freeze it, just refrigerate. BM is very resilient. Also, sorry if I missed this: how young is your baby. If LO is very young, I'd throw it out. Otherwise, I'd say it's good.
