My Dad!

DH's friends. I BF'd liv with a cover once in front of one of them, but he was the first of his group of friends to have a baby, so I think it would have made them uncomfortable. And I wasnt comfortable doing it. So when she needed to eat, Id go to her room. I did it in front of strangers, my dad, my brother, etc. That I was fine with (covered as much as possible)

I think that I will feel odd doing it in front of male friends, FIL and Step-MIL. We will see once baby gets here. Hopefully I can handle doing it with a cover.

My dad! Just the other day I was pumping (under a nursing cover) and he came in and plopped himself down on the couch right next to me and I almost had a heart attack!!!

My dad too! Also everyone else. . Basically I'm a coward and cant breast feed in public, I also have to go to another room or if I am going out I have to pump and take it in a bottle. I dont know why. I basically never really get to use my nursing cover.

Other than when I am at home, alone or with just DH here I always nurse with a cover. At my IL's it has been made clear that I am to go to another room to breastfeed (though I BF with a cover when they are at our home). I usually opt to go out to my car to BF anyways, as LO is too distractible.

I use a cover (a small, thin blanket) sometimes, especially if we're out in public, but generally I'm pretty comfortable breastfeeding in front of people. I figure if they have a problem with it they don't have to watch.
