... as the 9 month sleep regression? I thought I read someone mention it somewhere. Please tell me it doesn't really exist!

Sorry...I'm in the middle of it right now. DD just turned 9 months and has been waking up multiple times in the middle of the night SCREAMING. She use to STTN consistently but one week before she turned 9 months it went downhill. It was probably due to her teething, pulling up in the crib ALL THE TIME, and daddy being away for work for two weeks. Hoping she will go back to STTN soon.

@Katrocap: LO just turned 10 months and we didn't experience one. He had a few weeks of an extra wake up around 8 months and then starting STTN shortly after.

we had ours closer to 8 months... it sucked. sorry!

We had a few rough days around 11 months when she discovered her standing abilities in the crib!
