Hi ladies. I think I have reason to be excited, but with this been out first time TTC/my first pregnancy, I just wasn't sure how blue the second line should be. I got a VERY faint blue line (Target brand HPT). AF is scheduled to arrive today, so I figured the line would be darker. I know I'm not imagining it, but I haven't used this brand before. Is this a BFP?

Any line, no matter how faint, is a positive. Congrats! Wishing you a healthy and easy pregnancy 
If you want to make yourself feel better, go out and buy a digital. That's what I ended up doing.

Seems real. Get a digital and that will take the guesswork out of it!

It's faint, but I see it! I would try a different brand to see if it's darker in a day or two. I recommend FRER (First Response Early Result).

I see a faint line. But I've also heard blue dye tests give more false positives so I would go get a digital!

This might by stupid, but should I wait until tomorrow to re-test with digital? Since this one was SO faint with my first pee of the day, I was afraid I've used the part that will show up, haha. Are digital more responsive?

I stink at interpreting blue dye tests. Get a digital!

I would try today with a "First Response" early result one. Those are very responsive. I think it should work even without FMU.
If not, wait till tomorrow morning and try again.

@VEGMAMA: I'd wait for tomorrow morning with a FRER. I've had problems with the digital kind. One of mine had an error, so it didn't show a result at all.

I see it! Looks like a positive to me. I had a super faint positive but still got a positive with a digital on the same day.

I see a faint line, but all those "line" tests drove me batty, so I much prefer the "digital" ones that straight up tell you pregnant or not (i.e. Clear Blue). Good luck and Congrats!

I had a super, super faint line like that with a FRER (which a lot of people have suggested) with my first morning urine, so I ran out immediately and got a sweet tea (to make more urine!) and a pack of digitals. I couldn't wait until the next day! I got three "Pregnant" digital with my non-FMU! I say skip the FRER and get a digital -- no need to buy both, they're expensive.

I see a line but I would still go and get a digital. I didn't believe my Target test either, line was a little darker then yours. I bought them not knowing it was a blue test, which I heard wasn't as reliable. So I immediately retested with a digital. Keep up posted!! But it looks like a Congrats to me!

It looks good to me, BUT digitals typically are less sensitive, so I'd get an early response test!

@blackbird: really? my FRER was super light - like i could barely see anything - but i was so convinced i was pregnant, i went out and got digitals. the digital was very clearly pregnant!

@photojane: Typically digital tests require you to have more hCG in your system to get a positive result...each test is different though.

Wellll ... I went out today & bought a digital test. After 3 minutes (seriously, if that hourglass blinked one more time, I would have cried), I got my answer :: BFP! I'll test again in the morning (not sure why, but hey, I might as well). Thank you ladies for the peace of mind this morning. I just thought maybe I was crazy for seeing that tiny faint line. Now, I'm off to plan on how I'll tell my husband.
