My LO is almost 4 weeks. Breastfeeding was initially painful with cracked nipples and all, but the past week or so has been ok. Until the past few days, my right nipple is SO sore and painful. It almost feels like needles are jabbing into it at times. I can hardly bear the thought of her latching on that side, so I've been feeding off the other side and pumping the right side, which still kinda hurts. I've been reading up on thrush, and I dont really have any other symptoms. LO has a white tongue, but it's always been white. There are no other bumps in her mouth.

For those of you that have had thrush, what did it feel/look like on you? Think I should call my doctor?
