If your child is "graduating" from preschool or daycare, does your childcare center do a Graduation ceremony? Have you seen it in the past? Do they make a big deal out of it for the kids? How are you involved?
We won't go through this until next year but I'm curious what your school does!

I guess so? He's in preschool this year and next year will be in jr. k at the same school. They don't do a graduation, as far as I know.

yes! We just got the date - June 16th!
Its in the evening and they have caps and tassles and get a diploma - so cute! DS graduated from here a few years ago. Then they have a little party after with food and drinks.
Parents are not involved - just spectators

Ours has a prek graduation. No ideas what's involved since it's several years away for us, but it's been mentioned in the school newsletter.

DD1 had hers last year and it was a big deal. Cap, gown, diploma!

Only half of her class is graduating. 
she is after the school cut off date so she graduates next year.

Yes!its with the prek class and it's usually right at the center. But this year there are so many kids it will be at the banquet hall down the street. Each kid is allowed 4 guests (dd2 won't count). It's on 6/10 and I'm so excited and will most likely cry. They have been practicing songs at school and prepping the kids. By now I've heard both songs, multiple times a day.
I'm planning to bring her flowers to give to her after the ceremony.

Yes, but there's no hoopla. She'll be moving from the "daycare" side of the school to the "preschool" side. The kids move over one at a time over (based on their age and availability in the preschool class) so it's not like the whole class graduates at once. The preschoolers do a little ceremony when they head off the K though, since so many of them leave at the end of the summer.

Yes, but it's part of a end of the school year concert so we've been to 2 already and know what to expect The graduating kids do two songs, one when they're dressed up in future career outfits (some taken more seriously than others), the other in cap/gown. It's adorable!

My son is "graduating" but they don't do anything. This year there will be 5 kids moving on to elementary school (from his class of 12)! Last year there was only 1!
