Our daughter is so sweet at bedtime... she will whisper "I love you" unprompted, give unsolicited hugs and just in general find adorable ways to steal our hearts.

Our son is a bit older... sometimes he's super sweet, and sometimes he is on the other end of the extreme. One recent trigger has been that his sister naps (while he doesn't), so she often goes to bed later than him... but he doesn't want to go to bed before her. So that either triggers a meltdown, or he stays up and meltdowns anyway. Win/win.
