Ours is. She can basically come between 7:00-8:30 for breakfast, and if she comes after breakfast, drop-off is at 8:30 (technically until 9:00, but that's pushing it). They want all kids to be present and ready for morning roll call at 9:00. Just curious what the norm is.

There was a mix-up with my schedule today and I called to tell them LO will be staying home. When I tried dropping her off 2 hours later (their outdoor play time, not during meal time), one of the daycare ladies from another room lectured me about my too late drop-off. Once I told her I called in, she backed peddled a bit and said she didn't realize I called in.

Is your daycare/prechool this strict?

Eta: I'm extremely happy with all other aspects of her daycare and fully understand why they want them all there at a certain time, but I'm just curious if it's supposed to be this strict.
