A little of both! It's classic but it's also unique enough that I don't meet people with the same ring.

@babyjmama: ok so...I kind if designed mine/kinda not. Our jeweler had a ring like it but I hated how the band bumped the halo...so I copied the design but altered it to fit my needs and our jeweler made it! It was also less expensive that way because the original ring was a high end name brand so I was basically paying for the brand. Anyways- here are celly pics I took just for you babe;)

My engagement/wedding set are definitely classic. My new mother's ring adds a touch of color to it.

@babyjmama: hahahah thanks! My mom hates it because she says its trendy and she is very classic. She says "it's very nice quality, but it may 'get old' soon." Honestly, I don't care!!!
p.s: my husband picked the couch set in this room....He is going to love you after your compliment. I argued with him on it and lost apparently, because here they are! I like them but they are ivory....uhm, we have an infant and a cat. 'nough said. -

@babyjmama: Thanks. I'm getting used to it day by day. When I worked from home, I wore just the mother's ring and wedding band. It still looked really nice. My baby's and DH's birthstone is a peridot, but we liked the tsavorite better, so that's what we went with.

Mine are both classic and unique. My e-ring, wedding band and eternity band (push present) are all rose gold. E-ring is a halo, but not a gaudy one haha. Eternity band is obviously classic
My wedding band is antique and unique - it's a pattern of roses and leaves in rose and green gold. It's hard to get a good pic of it, but here's a cell phone shot. I usually just wear the two bands.

I only have an heirloom ring that was DH's wedding ring. It has 10 little diamonds in a row. I never had an engagement band.

I think mine's a mix between classic and unique. The e-ring is modeled after 1920's vintage settings, but it's also a design I don't see a lot of.

@babyjmama: Yeah, it's just not a pretty gemstone. We figured that this is a piece of jewelry I really wanted, so we went with something that is still green and pretty. I have a necklace with LO's initial on it and a peridot charm. That's about the extent of peridot I have.

Everyone has great rings! My ring is classic, it is a princess cut center stone with small stones in the band. What makes it a bit unique is the e-band gets thinner closer to the main stone and it has a few diamonds set down around all 4 sides of the main stone (so like on the profile of my center stone). I would take a picture, but its really really filthy and gross right now.

Well my wedding band is classic, it's just a plain white gold band. But my ering is both classic and unique I think. It was DH's great grandma's, and I think the fact that it's vintage makes it classic. But I also think because it's vintage it's a one of a kind, unique ring.

I'm generally not a jewelry person (gasp! What!? Who doesn't love a bit of ring porn?) but there are some awfully gorgeous rings out there!

Mine's pretty classic, although it has a thicker band than traditionally seen I think. The rings are filthy and still a bit too big (they're always twisting around) but here they are.

@rachiecakes: we have the same wedding band! =D i don't wear my engagement ring either. i lost a couple of the pave diamonds out of it and decided i just shouldn't wear it all the time.
here is a crappy pic of my e ring. pave was kind of trendy when i got it, so i don't think it's unique, but i don't think it's classic (i think traditional when i hear classic) either. i'm sure it will be date eventually, but DH picked it out and i love it for that reason =)

I think mine is unique since I've never seen anything like it. I don't have a wedding band because nothing would look good with it. Though i would like to get a plain band to wear sometimes.

Definitely classic! Single round stone in a 6 prong setting w/ a plain 2 (I think) mm white gold wedding band
