Good luck! Glad you got a new nurse. I would request a new one based on her comment. You need people to be supportive!

Getting more intense! Gonna check me in about an hour. Doing good. Just breathing through them. Ouch.

Natural childbirth lady came in and gave me a birthing ball and counter pressure. That was heaven!!!! I was incredibly relaxed so they wanted to put an internal monitor on so I could stay mobile but they failed. And it was absolute hell while they were trying.
I'm at a 1 1/2. They're about to come take the ball away from me so I can be monitored more. My natural childbirth lady is gone and my nurse is frustrated with me. She's acting like I'm an inconvenience for wanting to be on the ball. Like when I was crying from the pain of the failed monitor attempt she was kind of like "Well sorry but if you're wanting to be mobile that's what you gotta do". Aggravating but the other lady will be back around noon. Hopefully if I can relax and progress more they can apply the monitor more easily.

@Danizaur: I keep reading your posts and I feel like you're having almost the same exact experiences I had. Painful checks, tons of early labor, doctors wanting internal monitoring.
In my case I had a ton of fluid and the baby never descended enough to dilate me. Baby also had issues with the monitoring. It honestly sounds like you have a good chance of heading down the same road I went down, which ended in c-section (never dilated, needed internal monitoring for both baby and me).
My advice is stay mobile as long as possible and try to keep that baby moving down if he's not engaged yet.

@ShootingStar: I could have won an award for the amount of fluid that came out of me, and is continuing to gush out. So that sounds familiar.
T moved into a good position to be read on the monitor again which bought me more time on the ball. I'm one happy laborint mama on this ball right now.

@Danizaur: Haha, I had an ocean of fluid. And it just kept coming out. Apparently it can happen when you have GD, and is also what kept baby from descending for me.
You're doing really awesome! Keep it up on the balance ball :).

@Danizaur: I was amazed that almost 12 hours later I was still leaking fluid. It was crazy.
Hang in there Mama!!

If they take away your ball, squat over the toilet. That will help things open up down there. Come on Babyzaur!

@Danizaur: yay, good. I hope that you can stay on the ball as long as possible!

I second @avivoca: in sitting on the toilet if they take your ball away. I sat on the toilet a ton when I was laboring at home.
