Well we pulled the trigger and are having our IVF consult appointment on Friday. I was wondering if there are any questions I should know to ask besides the ones I'm listing below?
We briefly discussed it in our WTF appointment a few weeks ago, so I know that our RE recommends antagonist protocol for me and they don't currently batch patients but are looking into starting that process soon. I also have a folder with the paperwork and checklist of things we have to do before the procedure, plus a general outline of the costs. With all that info, these are the questions we have so far:
Could we do an NK cell test?
When should I schedule my SHG?
Does my CD 3 bloodwork need to be redone or not?
Can our consult with the financial person be over the phone or face to face?
Do we need to repeat the SA?
Do you do a frozen sample in case there are performance issues the day of the ER?
Is bed rest mandatory after the ET?
What time are monitoring appointments generally?
When will you start batching?
Should we/do you do assisted hatching?
FET protocol?
Do you use vitrification to thaw?
What could go wrong that could prevent the procedure from happening?
That's all I have so far, is there anything else that would be good to ask?
