@SweetiePie: We won't know til tomorrow! As of today, four will still growing - they're going to call tomorrow with recommendations as to freezing (if any are suitable.)

    @thisisme: Hope you're feeling good

@ShayNanigans: FX that you can freeze all 4 AND that you don't need them any time soon

@ShayNanigans: yes! And then afterwards the embryologist yelled "all clear!" after he made sure the embryo was out of the catheter. Just like a torpedo!!!

@SweetiePie: thanks for checking! I'm worried that I'm feeling TOO good! Almost totally normal, no symptoms yet. And the PIO shots aren't nearly as bad as I expected. In fact, I only seem to bruise, bleed, and get sore on one side. Weird, huh? We'll see how I feel about them if i have to keep going for several more weeks. How far along are you now? Feeling well I hope?

@thisisme: well for what it's worth I felt absolutely nothing till about 7-8 weeks! I had no indication of being pregnant after my transfer
I'm feeling good, thanks for asking! The usual pregnancy gripes but I try my hardest to not complain because it's all for a good cause I'm 10 weeks today, farthest I've ever made it

ETA: I'm glad you're doing Ok with the pio shots! How long have you been taking them now? I was OK with them until maybe 2 weeks. Don't get me wrong, they were never unbearable. It just got old and I got sore and numb and lumpy and it's just something I was so ready to be done with after 5-6 weeks of it!

@SweetiePie: that's worth celebrating for sure!

@SweetiePie: so exciting! (The 10 weeks part, not the PIO part!)

@thisisme: @ShayNanigans: the description of the torpedo launching has cracked me up. I'm sure it's a welcome comic relief during a heightened emotional moment!

Feeling really hopeful for you IVF gals....

@SweetiePie: about 9 days I think of PIO. I'm nowhere near as brave as you and threw a fit the first night about the huge needle, but I've come to terms with that now. I was really sore the first couple of days, but I think we figured out the right combination of ice, massage, and heating. I've told myself I really only have to make it another week. I get to stop if my betas are negative, and I'm hoping a BFP will make it much easier to continue!

Oh, my. Definitely having cramps on and off today, just like is usual several days before AF. 4dp5dt. What do you guys think? Good news or bad? Or maybe it's site effects from the progesterone or estrace?

  11. Shutterbug

@thisisme: that sounds promising! Do you plan to test before your beta?

  12. twodoghouse

    honeydew / 7230 posts

@thisisme: I had a lot of very painful cramping at the beginning of my pregnancy. They started on Thursday after my Sunday transfer (3 day transfer) and continued for a few weeks. So I say it's a good sign! When are you testing/betaing??

  13. ShayNanigans

@thisisme: Are you going to do home pregnancy tests before your beta?

  14. thisisme

    apricot / 305 posts

@Shutterbug: @ShayNanigans: I can't decide!!! How early do you think is reasonable to test? I'm thinking about using a FRER the morning of my beta. Do you think I could get a BFP before then?

    @twodoghouse: Beta is Friday morning!

  15. thisisme

    apricot / 305 posts

@ShayNanigans: How are you doing? I think you're just a few days behind me, right? I'm 6dp5dt today. Your transfer was Friday, right?

  16. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@thisisme: you should be able to see a BFP tomorrow! You did a lupron trigger, not HCG, right? If that's the case, you don't have to worry about false positives, and tomorrow (7dp5dt) is 12dpo, which should be late enough for a FRER. Good luck, whatever you choose to do!

  17. thisisme

    apricot / 305 posts

@Shutterbug: Right, no hcg trigger.... OMG, you just made me so crazy/nervous/excited. If I'm preggo, I really want to know so I can stop guessing, but I'm not sure I want to see a negative before my beta. Maybe it'll be good to know either way before hand?

  18. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@thisisme: personally, I like to find out on my own, so I'm prepared for the call from the nurse. I figure worst case I'll be totally shocked if she calls with good news and I was expecting bad news!

  19. twodoghouse

    honeydew / 7230 posts

@thisisme: Ohhh, if you didn't do an HCG trigger then I would definitely be testing sometime in the next couple days if I were you! I wanted to know before getting the call too, especially since I'd be at work when they called and knew I'd be emotional either way. I tested the night before my beta and I only waited that long because I was worried about getting a false pos. from the trigger shot!

    cherry / 245 posts

@thisisme: Yes! I think I am 3 days behind you... I'm already HPT-ing even though I know it's too early! My beta is Monday - hoping to see a BFP by Thursday or Friday.

  21. ShayNanigans

    cherry / 245 posts

@thisisme: Also, I don't know about you, but I am kind of going crazy - it's so hard to concentrate!!! (deep breaths)

  22. twodoghouse

    honeydew / 7230 posts

@ShayNanigans: Are you testing out your trigger? Wishing you lots and lots of luck!! Keep us updated if you see anything promising!

  23. ShayNanigans

    cherry / 245 posts

@twodoghouse: Yes! Stark white as of yesterday, so.... we'll see if a line starts to come back! Jeez, this is nerve-wracking. I am trying to be zen about it, which is kind of (not really) working.

  24. thisisme

    apricot / 305 posts

@ShayNanigans: I'm going SOOO crazy! I keep going back and forth between thinking there's no way I can't be pregnant to it still seems absolutely impossible. The snow day today doesn't help. I kind of wish I were at work for the distraction. DH and I went to an RV show this weekend just to get out of the house and not think too much. Turned out to be quite fun!

Are you feeling any symptoms yet? Do you think if there are two in there that you might feel something earlier or stronger?

My only symptom is still some on and off cramping, but it feels EXACTLY like the PMS cramping I usually get, so I can't decide what that means either!

  25. ShayNanigans

    cherry / 245 posts

@thisisme: No symptoms that I would rely on... my boobs are definitely bigger than normal and hurting, but I attribute that to the estrogen. A little cramping and lower back pain, but that could also just be random luck! I'm at 3dp5dt today. And I am so with you on the rollercoaster. One minute, I'm all "Of COURSE I'm pregnant" and the next... positive that I'm not!

  26. thisisme

You guys convinced me to POAS just now... I know morning is supposed to be better. This is an expired wondfo with an unused one for comparison. In only have one FRER and I don't want to waste it. Do you think this could be positive?

  27. ShayNanigans

    cherry / 245 posts

@thisisme: Yes, that looks promising to me - I see a pink line.... I know we don't like to get TOO excited around here before we get further along, but.... that definitely looks promising (ee!) Do it again tomorrow and see what happens!!

  28. SweetiePie

    honeydew / 7463 posts

@thisisme: @ShayNanigans: I heard wise words from @twodoghouse: after my transfer...you're pregnant until proven otherwise I liked that and it helped keep me calm during my wait.

  29. SweetiePie

    honeydew / 7463 posts

@thisisme: that is totally a bfp to me!!!! If you saved that pee I'd use an frer right now!
