Hi ladies, I am in the midst of my first IVF cycle, and I always thought that I would transfer two embryos. I am just shy of 35, and, ideally, we would like two children. My reasoning was that two embryos would give me the best chance for one baby and that we would be thrilled to have two now as well. Embryo transfer is scheduled for next week, and I am starting to second guess this decision. My concern is for the health of the babies and me since twin pregnancies carry more risks than singletons. A recent study I read, however, suggests that a twin pregnancy is really no more risky than two singleton pregnancy (which is the proper comparison for those who want two children anyway). I am just so confused as to what to do.

I know there is no right answer to this, but, for those of you who have been in this position, I would love to hear about the thought processes that went into the decision.
