    @Litebrite: @FaithFertility: thanks!

Has anyone felt like they don't want a BFP a particular month because life is so hectic? Not saying I don't want a baby, it's just I'm not sure if I'm in the mood to celebrate a BFP. Ugh, this is making me feel all guilty and weird.

@artsyfartsy: So nice to enjoy that time with DH! I feel like sometimes the romance goes out the window and it's all business!

@babypugs: Great plan! That's one of my goals this month too!

@mrsb2012: That's a great observation! FX you timed it right!

@marley: I think it's normal to feel that way sometimes. All this charting, temping, planning, timing, peeing.... Is exhausting!!! That's only one apsect of all our lives!! When other areas get hectic, the stress just builds! I'm a teacher and sometimes I think it would be so great to time my pregnancy around a break, but now I just want a baby. I don't think there really ever is the perfect time!!

AF came today. The positive is that my LP was 10 days and that's been my prayer!! So, yay! Feeling really hopeful next cycle. Trying Femara again. Hoping I O early and get a BFP.
I'm thinking I'll O sometime between CD15-20. Probably won't POAS until Feb 2 or so.
FX you all get some BFP this month!!!

No clue when I'm supposed to ovulate. Since I input a 26 day cycle last month my app put me as ovulating today (CD13) instead of 2 days from now (CD15). I can feel ovulation coming but I'm definitely not ovulating today.

From looking at my symptoms I think I'll ovulate on CD15 or CD16. My LP must be 10-11 days to be having 26 day cycles.

If this cycle isn't it I'll definitely have to temp next time.

AF due today but BFN. If going by temps (but using 3 different thermometers), I'm only 7dpo. Not sure what to think. I really have no idea what's going on.

@MrsB2012: Nope not at the moment. I think I may actually pick up a couple tomorrow when I'm at the store.

@marley: Hmm. That IS confusing!! Fingers crossed though!

  13. marley

    kiwi / 706 posts

@artsyfartsy: right? so I did an experiment and compared the temps with the two thermometers I have right now. The Mabis one consistently gives me lower temps by .33-.34 degrees. So I went back and redid my temps on FF. After I did that, FF changed my O date to 12/21, which makes me 13dpo. Still pretty late for a BFN and no AF though. My luteal phase has been 14 days every cycle.

    cantaloupe / 6692 posts

@marley: Hmm. How long are your cycles usually? Do you O around the same time every month or does it vary?

  15. marley

    kiwi / 706 posts

@artsyfartsy: usually on CD 16. This cycle has been weird. I added some supplements and had a long estrogen surge and O was delayed by at least 4 days (however CB still detected an LH surge on CD 17). My cycles have been 30-31 days consistently. I suspect it's the B complex screwing with me again, but I've cut out all supplements other than my multi, folic acid, and DHA.

    cantaloupe / 6692 posts

@marley: Ah. That may be it. Are you going to test again tomorrow?

  17. Litebrite

    cherry / 174 posts

@marley: between the multiple thermometers and the supplements, it sounds confusing. I'd guess your O date using the adjusted temps would be the most accurate, right?

  18. marley

    kiwi / 706 posts

@artsyfartsy: I think I'll wait until at least Tuesday, when AF is officially late according to FF. My temps are rising, and hopefully that's a good sign, but we BDd according to CB and I just kind of shut it down after the supposed O date, lol, so I'm not too optimistic.

  19. artsyfartsy

@marley: Lol it sounds like it could go either way! Good luck!!

@Litebrite: ugh, who knows? I got pregnant last time so easily I totally took it for granted.

  21. Winnie13

    kiwi / 501 posts

@marley: Sounds very confusing!! My temps are usually spot on for when I get AF. It's a huge drop. It was really helpful for me to combine temping and OPKs. It helped me really pinpoint my O date. Some of the confusion could come from the multiple thermometers. Definitely use the one you think is the most reliable and try not to switch them. Yay for your temps still being high. That's always a good sign!! Hopefully you won't need to make any of these adjustments next cycle! FX for a BFP!

  22. marley

    kiwi / 706 posts

@Winnie13: agreed. I switched because my trusty one started giving me temps in the 95s! So I ordered the Mabis one because it was available on Amazon Prime Now. Then I suspected it to be inaccurate when it gave me temps in the low 97s even though I supposedly ovulated. So I got a replacement for my original.

Starting to feel cramps and hoping they are not AF ones.

@marley: hhope it's not AF for you either!

I have been meaning to join this board but can't get to a computer for a while & it's a pain on my phone. I'm 10dpo expecting AF in 3-4 days but I've been randomly spotting today & had mild cramping too. Really unusual as I never spot or cramp...but trying not to get my hopes up for a bfp in case it isn't 😞

Has anyone else had exp with spotting/cramps then bfp?!

@Nutella: Welcome! I spotted once, when I got a BFP with DD! The day I got a BFP I wiped and had a light streak of brownish/pink
    Never happened again?! Maybe implantation?!

@FaithFertility: thank you for the welcome! Ooh that's interesting!! I'm terrified to test early just because I enjoy the hope, and hate being disappointed...I was wondering if 10dpo is reasonable timing for implantation? The cycle I got bfp with my DS I wasn't charting so I purposely wasn't on guard for any signs...

  28. FaithFertility

    eggplant / 11861 posts

@Nutella: Hahah I'm not sure, I too wasn't even thinking of timing with DDvwe were taking a "break" from IF treatmentas and went on a cruise, I only tested because I was going back to RE and well why not?!?

  29. Nutella

    persimmon / 1045 posts

@FaithFertility: ain't it always the way! Your story sounds cool - bit of a take on The Love Boat really yeah I was in need of a break last time from all the temping, opk, preseed & avoiding alcohol etc...so the month I decided to throw it all out the window it turned out to be our month!

  30. FaithFertility

    eggplant / 11861 posts

@Nutella: for some yes! I hate being a "we just took a break" story as those would drive we NUTS when we were in the mix of it all, but I can say keep hope and faith, things can/will work out one way or another!

  31. Litebrite

    cherry / 174 posts

@Nutella: Good luck! I've also heard that spotting can happen a few days after implantation as the embryo "digs in" a little more so if it didn't turn into AF it could be a good sign.

  32. artsyfartsy

    cantaloupe / 6692 posts

No OPKs at the store!! They only had a big bulk pack of digis and I didn't want to splurge. I did pick up a few more cheapie pregnancy tests so I can test early

  33. Winnie13

    kiwi / 501 posts

@Nutella: Welcome!! I understand needing a break!! I did one natural, 3 rounds of Clomid, 3 rounds of Femara all b2b with temping, OPK's, TI, and all the stress that comes with that!! I just took a 3 month break and it was so nice! Ready to get back in it this year feeling refreshed and with some new hope!! Hoping and praying for you girl!!

@artsyfartsy: I buy my WONDFO's on Amazon. Way cheaper and you can usually get a bundle of OPK's and PT's. I've always liked them. Never ever got a true pos, but that's because of my hormones! Anytime I got a pos (or close to one) my temps would verify! Hopefully you won't need one any of that!!

  34. Litebrite

    cherry / 174 posts

So.... Speaking of OPKs, this is my second month using them, and I'm still getting used to them. I just got this result on a 2 hour hold. Last month I got two results that were allllmost positive, and it correlated with my temp shift.
This is 3-7 days before my expected O date.
Any thoughts? Should I consider this a positive?

  35. QBbride

    pomegranate / 3192 posts

@Litebrite: yes, I'd consider that positive! You could have caught your surge right at the beginning, so you could O in 2 days. Either way, get BDing!

My temps are still up this morning at 14dpo. Still afraid to test tomorrow. If I get another BFN I'm not going to know what to think.
