@artsyfartsy: Omg you're killing me
@marley: temps still up is a good sign. When do you think you'll test (assuming they stay up?)
kiwi / 706 posts
@artsyfartsy: I lol'd.
@Litebrite: I guess tomorrow morning? I have 3 FRERs waiting for me. I also have a networking event on Thursday that will involve lots of wine. I'll test every other day after that. So much emotion with each test!

Hi everyone! joining in for some fun! I'm hoping 2016 is our lucky year!
Cycle Day: 26 (11dpo)
TTC #: 3 after MMC in August
O & POAS date: o'd on Xmas day I think...waiting until AF on 8th Jan to test (if I can hold out!!). Cycles are usually 28/29 days but post-MC are mixing it up a little, just to make it harder!
Baby #: 2 - we have an almost 2 year old who is the bomb!
Your plan? It's already happened this month so now I'm just waiting and trying to stay calm! As I mentioned I have spotting and cramps which never happens before AF so I'm a ball of nerves, but praying it's not just a weird AF cycle!
For fun: yes, to be more grateful for the fact our life is amazing...and to try and be content without always wanting more! I might start this by generally avoiding the shops
Good luck to all those BD'ing or testing soon!

@marley: I know what you mean about so much emotion with every test! This is why I have none at home...good luck to you though!

@Nutella: Hey we are in similar boats. I'm also in my 3rd cycle after a mc in August and I also have a 2 yo who is also the bomb.
Good luck waiting!

@FaithFertility: totally! thanks again for your encouraging story - that will help me!!
@Litebrite: how crazy! How are you feeling now? I have my moments but still so much better than a few months ago. My little guy randomly turned super clingy for a few months there too, it was a lot going on!

@Winnie13: thank you - I'm glad you're feeling refreshed and ready to get back into it! Sometimes stepping away from it all works out for the best.

@Nutella: I'm fine most of the time, but I still have moments of sadness, jealousy, resentment, you name it. I hope we continue healing and get to add to our families this year.

@Litebrite: Woohoo! Your body is ready!
@marley: Fingers crossed!!!!
@Nutella: Sounds promising! Can't wait for you to test. I'm at the point of O and testing seems so far away. Ugh

I'm supposed to O 1/24 this month - so while I'll still be here with you all, I won't be testing until Feb.
Fingers crossed for everyone, especially @marley !

@artsyfartsy: o time is such a mixed bag of emotions for me too! It's like you're in control but not, all at the same time!
Good luck though!
I'm worried AF has just arrived early for the first time in the history of my life. I didn't even get a chance to get excited about testing! I feel like implantation bleeding couldn't be this red or heavy (sorry tmi). Plus I have cramps now too, which is unusual so early before AF but normal for my first day of AF.
Lame, but will see what the next day brings...

@wheres_c: aww, thanks!! It's beginning to feel like AF is coming though.
@Nutella: I forget, do you temp?
persimmon / 1045 posts
@marley: I am taking a break from temping but this year have been a lazy temp-er at the best of times. I'm annoyed I didn't this cycle now of course as that would shine light on wth is going on. I figure my periods must still be wonky since the d&c. Some cycles they've only been three days and this one probably is just going to be long...sucks though! We had awesome timing due to Xmas holidays and all.

@Nutella: I've been googling nonstop and read a lot of BFP stories with bleeding around 11dpo. Why don't you test tomorrow?
persimmon / 1045 posts
@marley: I was planning to wait out the weirdness before buying a test...I really don't want to see a bfn! But if the spotting tapers off I might just!
pear / 1718 posts
@marley: @Nutella: I am one of those stories! I thought I was moving on to the next cycle because AF came early (3-4 days . . . right around 11dpo) and the tests I had taken up to that point were negative. Fast forward 4 weeks, POAS, and *BOOM.* I am cheering for y'all so hard!
persimmon / 1045 posts
@pwnstar: That's right! You had weird stuff happening...was it a proper AF type flow? Sorry for the tmi question I'm just so confused right now!
pear / 1718 posts
@Nutella: It might have been a little lighter (flow-wise) and maybe a bit more brownish, and it was a little short (it was about 3 days with a little spotting afterward, and AF usually lasts 4 days for me), but yes, otherwise, it looked/ felt just like a regular AF.
pear / 1718 posts
@Nutella: I totally hear you on the confusion, because I was floored when I saw the positive come up right away. I thought there was something wrong with the test (like maybe the test strip had been put in backward!)

Spotting his A.M. right on time! Soo don't think I'll be POAS!
Best of luck to all!!!!!

@faithfertility @nutella What is it with all this spotting? I'm wishing you guys the best today.
My temp went up almost a full degree from yesterday morning. So I guess that means I ovulated yesterday? We will BD again tonight just in case but it looks like we only hit o day this month. I am not thrilled about our chances.

@Litebrite: I didn't think but this cycle would be my first after 100% weaning DD we only nursed at bedtime 4-5x a week but we stopped about 3 weeks ago, might make for a funky cycle this time!

So FF indicated a triphasic pattern on 12dpo. That's super late. Research shows that there's an 82% rate of mc. Part of me doesn't even want to test and get a BFP. Maybe I should just move along and wait for AF or a baby bump, lol.
cherry / 174 posts
@marley: Sorry you're in this limbo. I'm not sure why being triphasic at 12dpo would be a bad thing. Does the 2nd temp shift usually correlate to implantation? For both my pregnancies, my temp went up the day I got my bfp (at like 13 and 14 dpo). One was a healthy pregnancy and the other ended in mc.
kiwi / 706 posts
@Litebrite: yes, usually a temp spike correlates. Implantation makes more progesterone, causing a temp rise.
cherry / 174 posts
@marley: Sorry your cycle is really being difficult.
You are not 100% sure of your dpo, are you? It's so weird that your temps are high, no AF and BFN. I wonder if you ovulated later than you think?
kiwi / 706 posts
@Litebrite: definitely unsure of dpo. Thermometer trouble this month and added too many supplements. I guess Clearblue detected an LH surge but I didn't ovulate until later. I was just gearing up to O. I should've kept BDing when my temps didn't go up, but my thermometer broke the day after my peak reading on the CB.
I could be either 10dpo, 15dpo, or 19dpo. Probably 10, in that case, I'm definitely not pregnant. On to the next cycle! Never wanted to see a temp drop so badly.

@marley: I'm sorry, that sounds so frustrating! Hope everything goes more smoothly next month.
persimmon / 1101 posts
@Nutella: Good luck to you this month! I think your resolution sounds fantastic. Being content is something that I really struggle with as well, even when things are going smoothly and I know I'm really not doing nearly as bad off as I think I am.
