I agree. I don't believe in this, but I think I want to get a reading for fun... I wonder if she's ever said, sorry, don't see one....

@pui: I don't think many here believe in it. Most are just doing it for fun. U r entitled to your own opinion.

@pui: I think most of us don't believe in it and are doing this just for fun. It would be appreciated if you wouldn't be so harsh though. If anything, it helps those of us who have been here a long time have a little hope that it WILL happen, even if we don't really believe.

I don't put too much belief in it, but when you've gone months and months not getting pregnant, it's a great, fun source of hope when you no longer even have some (even if you're not really holding on to it coming true). My reading by Jenny Renny was completely off, but my reading by Cheri was totally accurate. She predicted girl but I had an IUI which usually means boy, so if I get a girl anyway I might start to believe her a little bit more. In the end, I just do it for fun and don't think that should be judged.

This has me so tempted. Has anyone ever done it for LO#2? Although tbh I'm not quite sure how I would take news of it being years from now, lol.

Jenny Renny was wrong for me. She predicted I'd get my BFP in March from a cycle beginning in Feb, but nope! AF showed instead. Humpft.

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@doxielove: I'm sorry! JR was wrong for me too. Have you tried Cheri22? She's been right for many of us so far.

  9. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@MrsKoala: LOL I was starting to wonder how often she predicts a boy!

@pui: Personally I place more stock in science than psychics, but many of us reach a point where we could use a little light-hearted fun in the TTC process. Even if we know that logically it probably isn't true, there's still that little bit of hope...there's no need to take that hope away from anyone.

JR was wrong for me too she predicted a BFP in OCT.

I am still waiting to see if Cheri22 is correct she predicted FEB as a month of importance. Well it didn't result in a BFP. But it could mean birth month which would mean a BFP in June from a May cycle.

We will see. Oh and boy have predicted a boy for me.

What the heck, why not share my Cheri reading:

They are showing me a little girl and they relate her to JULY so this is either birth month, conceive month or the month you find out in

They are showing her as being someone who is very gentle and loving. They show her loving this little white cat (its mostly white but has some black?) and they are showing her as being someone who just loves to cuddle with it. She is always affectionate not just to animals but to people as well. Often putting her hand on their shoulder as a show of concern and support. It just seems to come naturally to her, and often ends up being the one that people turn to when they are having a bad day. Without really being able to explain it, she just seems to be able to draw people towards her, her happiness, her willingness to accept things she can not change and to always have a positive and happy attitude about anything and everything that she can. I am seeing her as someone who is able to help others deal with emotions, getting it all out and being the shoulder to cry on, but having the inner strength within herself not to get too deeply involved that the situation ends up affecting her.

She is someone who is always going to be hands on when it comes to learning. Someone will be able to explain something to her on how it needs to be done, and she is paying attention, she is writing notes out and then you are going to find that she is the one that will that will then take it on herself to follow the example that they have given to ensure that yes she does understand perfectly.

She is always going to love the science field, and nothing seems to gross her out or even discourage her from participating. She has amazing strength.

When it comes to career paths, they are showing her linked to working in nursing, but what they are showing, seems to be that she is more liked to working with the elderly. It just seems that she also ends up being the one that consoles the family when they loose their loved one.

When ti comes to marriage i am seeing her closer to 26. They will have two girls of their own.

Ok, I admit it. I'm a total skeptic but I got a reading!

"They are showing me a GIRL and they relate her to JULY so this is either birth month, conceive month or the month you find out in

The are showing me a girl who is always going to insist on doing things for herself. You will find that this happens right from the time she could walk. They are showing that rather than being able to push her in the swing, she would rather put her own doll in there, and then push it herself. I am seeing you being very leery of this, knowing that if she pushes too hard, that its going to swing hard enough and come back and hit her... I am seeing you torn between allowing her the freedom to explore and learn things on her own the hard way, OR to prevent her from doing it and getting hurt.

They are showing her as someone who is very determined. You can see it in her face when she has made up her mind. Although she might be saying "yes yes yes" you know right away if its going to be something that she plans to do the minute that your not paying attention (when younger!).

They are showing her as someone who does not believe in just leaving things alone. you may think that she is not paying attention, but she is the one that likes details. The one that pays attention to everything even if it seems like she is pre-occupied. You are going to find her to always be the one that asks the hard questions, really trying to figure out what she wants to do and will only do that once she has the answers.

As she gets older, they are showing her hair being fairly long, but often putting the front half into a ponytail or a clip, it appears like its all one length.

When it comes to career paths they are showing as a kid doing alot of comericals and some voice work, and eventually moving over to a journalism field.

When it comes to marriage I am seeing her closer to 27. They will have two boys of their own"

The personality combo sounds like such a blend of hubby and I that it's uncanny. If it's accurate, I hope it's find out in July - I'm so impatient!

Jenny Renny was wrong for me - she predicted a March BFP from a February cycle with a November 2013 due date. Wrong, wrong, and wrong.

Cheri still sort of has a chance at being right, as she referenced February, and I suppose that could still end up being the birth month if we get pregnant soon.

I'm thinking about trying this too, just because I'm getting antsy while waiting to start TTC in a couple months. Sounds like a fun way to pass the time!

But maybe I'll start with Cheri over Jenny Renny. It seems like Cheri has been a lot more accurate, at least with HBers, after reading this whole thread.

OK, back with an update on my Cheri reading!

It took her a day to respond to me after I submitted my order, and she originally said April 12th would be when she'd do the reading, but it was delayed for one day, so I got it the night of the 13th.

Her prediction was a girl, related to June, which makes me happy because it's so soon! And hooray for joining the girl club, since that seems to be what she's been seeing for all of us hellobeers.

I'm happy to post the full reading if anyone would be interested in seeing it. I have to admit, it made me a little emotional to read, even though I know it's all just for fun.

Just FYI, per our elective ultrasound at 17 weeks, Cheri22 was wrong about the sex. While we don't think our ultrasound tech was fabulous, she swore it was a boy (we didn't get a good shot of between the legs). We'll know absolutely for sure May 2nd when we have our anatomy scan with the OB, but it's looking like she got our timing right, but our sex wrong.

Alright, here is the info from my reading. A lot of things really stuck out at me, like the baby being born with no hair (I was a bald baby until almost 2!) and her having hair similar to mine (my hair is one of my favorite features). So fun to imagine this future little child of ours anyway, even if none of it turns out to be true!

    ***
Thanks for being patient with me while I got back to your reading. They are showing me a GIRL coming your way and they relate her to JUNE so this is either birth month, conceive month or the month you find out in.

They are showing me a baby that is going to be born with not too much hair. They are showing her always "bright eyed and bushy tailed". meaning that despite being a new born, she seems to always be active and awake far more than what is expected from a newborn. She likes to be held up so that she can see the world around her. So carrying her in those baby carries, that you strap to your front or back is exactly what is going to cheer her up. She loves it when people are talking to her, talking to her. Shes always so charismatic, always friendly and chatting back and always has a smile on her face. She is never demanding, is always going to have amazing patience. She just seems to be able to not be your typical child that would be always interrupting you while your chatting, but would actually wait her turn.

She is going to love photography. They are showing her being around 16 years old, and her hair very similar to yours in the picture provided but her hair is longer (and shes about an inch taller than you). She just loves to take pictures of other people. Is always very candid with her shots and often very fun with how she gets people to interact. I am seeing her as someone who seems to know when people are themselves, seems to capture that inner beauty that people are talking about.. when they are just laughing with friends, or not realizing that shes about to take a picture. She is able to capture that essence, and people really feel that she was able to make them look "beautiful".

When it comes to your daughter, she is always going to be sensible. The type that is always going to be able to make things better than how she found them, often following her own heart and ideas. Your going to see her being very intuitive, often saying or doing exactly what was needed to be done, or heard.

When it comes to marriage I am seeing her closer to 27,. They will have two boys of their own.

When it comes to career paths, they are showing her linked to working in a lawyer linked position. They are showing her doing photography on the side. I am getting the impression is often hired specifically for certainly types of photo shoots.

I saw this thread pop up and it reminded me to update - both Jenny Renny and Cherri were off by a month, but they were both right about the gender! (It's a boy ) Although of course it's a 50/50 shot ;).

I got a Jenny Renny reading back in February and I loved it! I won't really know if it's right for some time, if I get KU in July I could have an April birth month Here's what she said:

They are showing me a BOY and they relate him to APRIL so this is either birth month, conceive month or the month you find out in

They are showing me a boy who has a very strong will.. You can set him up with a challenge and he is the one that is going to continue it until he gets it right. He doe snot like other people stepping on his toes or pushing him to complete something that he is not particularly fond of. He is someone who has a goal in mind and will work hard on it, ensuring that he finishes what he starts and is always someone that you can be proud of.

I am seeing him as someone who has good conversations. His ideas are often really above others and is the one that you are going to watch. Its almost like he is going to make these big huge projects that you can't believe that a child his age would even think of, yet alone even try and complete. I am seeing him as someone who does not take things for granted. Always aware of social situations and what is expected of him. He is always going to be well mannered and someone who you are able to understand. His vocabulary for his age is amazing. At three, is talking better than most 4 year olds.

When ti comes to career paths, they are showing me someone who is always going to be about making things better... about "serving the people" and often along those lines follows activities in school that allows him to pitch in and get things done. Always very much about community.. so they show him sticking to things in politics, running for "mayor" type positions and so forth. Wanting a position that he can do the most good from.

When it comes to marriage I am seeing him closer to 28. They will have BOY GIRL BOY of their own.
