@mrskansas: yay ovaries! I'm excited to see what happens with no meds... I mean it's been good to a certain point before!

@knittylady: I'm just excited that my body is doing what it is supposed to. Goes to show that fertility meds are not for everyone!

You know you are a crazy TTCer when even after AF comes you still consider POAS! Mine was three days early and only a few days long and lighter than normal, so of course I'm telling myself there's still a chance! I need to start a new hobby to get out of my head!

@HappyBaker: I've so been there. I worried about an ectopic like one week after my surgery for ectopic. Shame.

I'm hopping on here since it looks like I'm finally about to ovulate (I hope!)
Cycle Day: 26
TTC Cycle: 7
Ovulation Date: hopefully in the next 12-36 hours (6/18-6/20)
POAS Date: let's plan for 7/10
Baby #: 1
What's up this month: My second cycle on Femara., but it's taking forever to ovulate. I got close to a positive OPK this morning and my second temp drop in 2 days, so hoping to ovulate soon.
For Fun: Favorite hot weather recipe? ICE CREAM!

I'm an idiot. I didn't realize I posted yesterday in here too. Good gracious.....

@Mrs. Oreo: If it makes you feel any better, I almost added you to the list and then I remembered I am not the thread starter!

@mrskansas: Same! We BD'd last night. I'll check again this afternoon when I get off work since I didn't bring any OPKs to work.
I was thinking that the ONE time this cycle I didn't use an OPK is the one time I bet it was the positive. That'll be my luck!
nectarine / 2813 posts
@Mrs. Oreo: It's definitely possible that you missed the peak, but as long as you have been BDing you're good!

Cycle Day: 22
TTC Cycle: 2
Ovulation Date: I won't know until I see a temp shift. Irregular cycles
POAS Date: About 12 days after I ovulate? See above.
Baby #: 2
What's up this month: At this point I'm only tracking via BBT and cervical signs. I resisted the urge to buy some OPKs (it'd be just one more thing to drive me crazy) by promising myself that I can buy some next cycle if I don't get pregnant this month.

Sorry for the huge pictures but any idea of when I may have ovulated? I know it's hard to say.
1st picture is Saturday at 5 PM.
2nd is Saturday at 10 PM.
3rd is Sunday morning (SMU).
4th is this morning. Today's isn't quite positive so I think it may be on its way down.
pomegranate / 3212 posts
@mrskansas: 3rd one looks the most positive so maybe today?? I never know whether to countdown from first positive or most positive though...
nectarine / 2813 posts
@knittylady: That has always been confusing for me too. I think I am going to count yesterday as ovulation day just because I did get a solid positive Saturday night. Plus Sunday morning's may have been really dark since it was super concentrated SMU.

@Mrs. Oreo: negative my CM is all over the place too. Ugh. My friend is sending me her Clearblue Fertility Monitor for next month if I need it.

@Mrs.Panda: Ugh! My cm is the same - I dug around there too much the last couple weeks. Hopefully you won't need it next month!

I really don't know that our chances are great but I'm really glad that my TWW falls during vacation. We leave Friday and we don't get back until July 1.
My only concern is that I know I will want to drink since we're staying on the beach (with my husband's family!) and I'll be 5-12 DPO while we're gone. Should I pack some cheapies to use? I never drink excessively, maybe 1 or 2, so I guess it's probably ok?
With my history I just hate to do anything that could potentially be harmful and I won't even enjoy myself if I think I could be pregnant.

@mrskansas: just popping in but I really think you'd be fine at that point. Have a nice vacation!

@2littlepumpkins: Thank you! I know it will be fine... I'm just paranoid
grapefruit / 4455 posts
@mrskansas: well if it makes you feel better maybe just skip the last couple days? 5-6-7-8 or so dpo I think you deserve a drink and would do it! But I am firmly in "drink til it's pink" camp!

Hi Ladies! I'm so excited to join (You cant tell this is TTC cyle 1 by that phrase, right?!?)
Cycle Day: 5
TTC Cycle: 1
Ovulation Date: ~6/28
POAS Date: 7/13
Baby #: 2
What's up this month: First cycle TTC for #2. DS took 9 months + 2 rounds of Clomid for PCOS. I stopped continuous BC 6/12 and had my first period in more than a year starting 6/15. It was short - just 3 days. Visited my OB for my annual and she said to try 6 months before making an appointment for intervention. Praying for a "spontaneous" conception this go-round! Temping & using OPKs to see if I'll ovulate on my own.
For Fun: Favorite hot weather recipe? Drive to Chick-fil-A. Buy Frosted Lemonade

@HeartAbandoned: Now I wanted frosted lemonade!
Welcome and good luck!
nectarine / 2813 posts
@2littlepumpkins: Maybe I'll have a few here and there up until 10ish DPO... I would feel better about it if I drank beer or wine but I'm all about tequila and vodka, lol. For some reason that seems worse!

@HeartAbandoned: ooh frosted lemonade ... it's the best. i also make it at home if I happen to have lemonade and ice cream! Good luck this month!

@mrskansas: drink till it's pink!!! or just skip the last day. I feel like testing on vacation will suck so don't pack any!! Even if you want to see negative to drink, that white bfn is so depressing ... or you're staring at a ghost line ... ugh.

Cycle Day: 15
TTC Cycle: 2 or 3?
Ovulation Date: Any day now - I'm guessing/hoping CD 16-17?
POAS Date: Nada - I wait. AF will be due at the very beginning of July and I'll be on vacation with my in-laws. It would be nice to not have to deal with AF on yet another vacation...
Baby #: 2
What's up this month: Nothing new!
For Fun: Favorite hot weather recipe? I love grilling. And by *I*, I mean DH grills

I think my POAS date will be July 9. According to an app I been tracking on for the past few months. Crossing fingers for this month! Good luck ladies!!
clementine / 933 posts
@patientlywaiting19: What app do you (and others!) use? I used Fertility Friend for DS, but have started using Ovia Fertility this go-round, after loving the Ovia Pregnancy app a few years ago. I'm curious to know what else y'all are using!
clementine / 874 posts
@HeartAbandoned: I use ff, too. I don't *love* it, but it gets the job done. How do you like Ovia?
pomegranate / 3212 posts
@HeartAbandoned: using Ff advanced. I like it! But I'm feeling some FOMO reading these comments and may download some more to try
clementine / 933 posts
@Coral: I like Ovia a lot. It's more visually appealing than FF (though I'm speaking to the FF of 3 years ago, it may be prettier now!). It gives a fertility score on a scale of 1-10 each day, based on the info you provide. You can track temp, CM, OPKs, BDing, mood, symptoms, AF, what you eat, activity, sleep, weight, BP.... I use it for temp, CM, OPK, BDing and AF. It's allegedly "smart" and will update your projected fertile window based on historical data. You can view your data on a calendar or a traditional fertility chart. It also offers educational tidbits - info about what stage of your cycle you're in, how leafy greens promote good fetal health, etc. It can be a bit overwhelming if you let it, but I think it's really robust as a free app!
@MamaB: I'll be downloading Kindara now, too! Thanks for the recommendation!
@knittylady: I'm with you - I want to try them all!
apricot / 374 posts
@HeartAbandoned: I'm crazy and use three apps! FF, Ovia, and Glow (all free versions). FF is the only place where I log my temps as measured (on the other apps I adjust for time differences), and before I started using Glow it had the best chart view. I started using Ovia to track periods before TTC #1 and throughout that pregnancy. I do like the fertility score feature (even though it's given me a few false notices this cycle, it keeps adjusting), but I miss the web interface and it no longer syncs seamlessly with my fitbit for some reason. I also don't like the chart view as much b/c it's difficult to see my long cycles without scrolling. I just started using Glow a month or two ago, and I think it might be my favorite! It's more visually pleasing than FF and I like the chart view better than Ovia's.
