@Claire.Peonies: I just had my first IUI yesterday and my doctor said have as much sex as you want and that it could help the process.

Looks like I'm out, ladies. AF has arrived unexpectedly - and unpleasantly - early. Day 22. Surely something is way off. FML. Now I need to pay attention to all this LP talk in here!! I just wanted to POAS!!

@LindsayInNY: is it an odor I would notice, or DH? (I don't know why I laughed when typing that.)

@lisamarieloves: Boooo, so sorry AF showed up so early for you.
@AlmostMrsG: Ooooh, good luck!!! I hope the TWW flies by for you and ends with a BFP!!
@Claire.Peonies: How's it going? Did you test again this morning?

@lisamarieloves: Aww, boo! Is that cycle shorter than usual? Are you just off BC, by any chance (I feel like we've already talked about this though?)? Do you know when you Oed - maybe it's not your LP? As for the odor, I noticed it when I went to the bathroom. Then again, maybe I'm just hypersensitive to noticing things but I don't *think* I've noticed it at any other time during my cycle. I don't know how to describe it though - and I don't think DH has ever noticed?

@Dandelion: Oh really? It's hard to tell here with 95* degree weather all the time now... But, on a side note since I sweat a lot anyways, do you have a good deodorant you'd recommend?!
watermelon / 14206 posts
@LindsayInNY: I just use my usual stuff...whatever is on sale. The odor does seem to come from down there so I just shower really well.

@sera_87: That's really promising! I'm so tempted to test later, too, because the wait is killing me. AF is due tomorrow or sometime Saturday at the latest. Why can't I just wait these few extra days?? It's SO hard!

Lindsay - I got off birth control in January 2012 after I was married but have actively avoided TTC until just recently.
Claire - so sorry, friend. But we must just BD on!!!! And I took the pill for 10 years!! I don't know how that really affects anything.

@Claire.Peonies: Normal in my book... I was on BC for 12 years. My first two cycles off of it were long (40 and 62 days). They seem to have regulated since (approximately 30-33 days) but the last 2 cycles had discharge/spotting pre-AF. I've had 6 cycles off BC, 4 of which were timed well for TTC.

@LovelyPlum: I think my POAS date will be Saturday the 27th? Still waiting for crosshairs on FF to re-confirm O though.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@LindsayInNY: I've had fairly regular 28-30 day cycles for the last year, nearly. So why, when I first start TTC, do I start a new cycle on day 22? (That's rhetorical, I'm not expecting you to have the answer!). Are you taking a vitamin B? If so, what specific kind?
bananas / 9229 posts
@lisamarieloves: Only thing I can think of is maybe stress of TTC or something like that caused the early cycle? I just started taking B6 (just B6, not a complex or anything) post-O this cycle since my LP has been a day less every cycle (13, 12, 11, 10). The past two cycles have also had considerable discharge/spotting leading up to AF which is weird. I read that B6/B complex can also help prevent this spotting so I'm giving it a shot. I'd maybe wait one more cycle to see if next cycle is short too?
