@sera_87: If there was a squinter, then I'm willing to bet that you're still in it.
pomegranate / 3604 posts
@BabyBoecksMom: does it still count as a squinter if you have to tip it?
nectarine / 2527 posts
@sera_87: it does cause my first squinter I had to look at from an angle plus take apart just to see it

@FaithFertility: The IUI was easy once my dr was able to get the catheter in. I have some scarring from a LEEP a few years back so he had to manually dilate my cervix. That part wasn't so much fun but I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat if it gets me a BFP

@AlmostMrsG: ohhh I totally agree I'm willing to do it all, just a big baby. ....lol
Prayers for a BFP :)))))) to you!

@lisamarieloves: I take 100 mg of vitamin B6 every day in addition to the prenatal.
Pros:
- I have more energy
- I stay full longer (Dr said it makes the nerve endings in the stomach more likely to register food in there, awesome.)
- I O'd a whole 7 days "early" this month (I've only been tracking for 4 cycles and the O date moves, I always guess CD14, but it can be CD21 or CD 16, so this is not a very scientific statement.)
- I'm able to focus more - not sure if that's the B6, but nice.
Cons
- Neon pee.
- Can't take after 3pm, it keeps me awake until the wee hours of the morning if I do.
Doc also recommended Vitex - I would check with a Dr on that, as some women have problems while taking it and it shouldn't be taken with certain fertility meds. I haven't had any problems so far, but it's slow-acting, so I'm waiting to see what else it might do.

Had my lap yesterday. They did not find any endo, but they did find an adhesion, which my doctor cut. The adhesion was in the exact place I was getting most of my pain, so at least I know what was causing the pain. I have no idea how I got the adhesion though since they are usually from a prior surgery or infection and I haven't had either. I did ok with the anesthesia, but I'm feeling a lot more sore today. Just resting up and taking it easy.
@lovelyplum: @CMBKNYC: @sprite: @doxielove: Thanks for the thoughts and well wishes.

@sweetkeight: Thank you so much for the information. I am likely going to hold off one more month and just make DH give it best try with this new cycle. (I try to blame everything on DH when I can.) But I am probably equally likely to go out and buy a bunch of B6 vitamins. I want more enegery and to feel full! And neon pee would be fun! =)
@Honeygold89: Bahahaha... I totally imagined you taking the test apart. I love how crazy us girls get. We must find laughter in all of this TTC situation.
@mrs. 64: I'm happy to hear your procedure went well. Resting up and taking is easy is always a good thing.

How long has everyone been TTC for?
Do you count the first day of your period as the first time you see ANY spotting or the first day of full flow?
I am spotting- no full flow yet. Not that unusual for me to spot prior to a period- but still hoping!

@fussygal: boo sorry lady!

@Claire.Peonies: I had this discussion with the bee's a few weeks ago and it seems that the first day of actual flow is the start. I think if you don't have full flow by tomorrow you should test again because this happened to me.

@Claire.Peonies: I count for real flow day
This is my 4th TTC over 8 months (BFP 3rd cycle, miscarriage)

I just feel like 5 months is a long time. Do you think an OB doc would start me on clomid at this point? I get +OPKs month after month..
grapefruit / 4582 posts
@Claire.Peonies: from what I've heard around here, I think only after a year of trying would concern your OB. Maybe 6 months at the earliest?
apricot / 402 posts
My cycles evidently range from 28-32 days. I have been off of the pill for 6 months now. They are normal now for the past 2-3 cycles...
apricot / 402 posts
@Bao: This may be TMI, but my spotting is brown *not unusual for me actually* and less then 1 pad. Was yours heavier or about the same? How many days did you see spotting for?
nectarine / 2134 posts
@Claire.Peonies: I've heard that 6-12 months is average for a healthy couple to conceive. And like @luckypenny said, most docs won't look into fertility issues until you've been TTC for a year (if under 35) or 6 months (if 35+). My doc also said they would do some tests if we were to have recurrent chemical pregnancies/miscarriages (but not after one). I know it's tough TTC month after month, but I'm hoping for a for you soon!
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@fussygal: I'm so sorry. This is your third cycle post mc right? For some reason I've had a long cycle, a normal cycle, and now this month was really short. I am going to try B Complex this month too! Hopefully fourth times a charm.
watermelon / 14206 posts
@Claire.Peonies: Clomid gets you to ovulate, so it wouldn't be helpful for you. Go on YouTube and look at the video The Great Sperm Race. You'll see then why it's such a pain TTC and why most women don't get it on the first few tries.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@Claire.Peonies: even though you may have been ovulating and on a normal cycle it can take a few months for the hormones of pills to come out of your system. I think that you're still normal! We have a little one, so we know we are fertile and we are still having to wait this time.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@Claire.Peonies: about the same except mine even had a bit of red and pink that's why I thought I was out.
blogger / cherry / 179 posts
@Claire.Peonies: we have been trying for 6 months...and like you I feel like its a long time. I haven't been on any form of bc and we quit using condoms in December. Granted we thought it would just happen on accident so the first 3 maybe 4 months could have been bad timing, but I thought the last few were right on target. This past cycle was my first using opk's so I'm holding out hope maybe the next cycle or two of definitely timing it down to the hours/day will be the trick. It's very discouraging though
bananas / 9229 posts
@Claire.Peonies: I went off BC and we started trying right away. First two cycles were 40 and 63 days with not good timing. I started temping and OPKs during cycle 2. Cycles have been regular since then. I'm in the TWW of technically cycle 6 now. I've experienced the spotting you talk about the past two cycles too. How old are you?
pomegranate / 3580 posts
@T.H.O.U.: Yeah this was my 3rd cycle post m/c. Last month finally got back to normal, but this one was a little short for me (and the first was waaaay short). Sorry that yours are still wacky too : ( Not understanding or knowing what to expect is the worst. I was taking b complex the month I got my BFP, so I hope it works for both of us! Would be fun to be in the same due date month
