Aand I'm out for this cycle. I have no clue what's going on with my body anymore. I thought I was 11 DPO so had a few more days and then BOOM right before we leave to go to a party I've almost bled through to my pants. WTF?! I usually spot a day or 2 before, kind of a warning, but this time nothing. Bleh. CD3 bloodwork tomorrow...

Good luck to everyone else and congrats to @LibbyLou: !!!

@HellOnHeels: thank you, and I'm sorry! I had a few cycles like that too, crazy amount of bleeding and unexpected. Like salt in the wound.

I need to catch up with everyone later this afternoon, but wanted to post an update.

Went to Minneapolis yesterday and had an ultrasound. Trigger shot tonight and first ever Iui wed morning. I'm trying to reach my local clinic now to schedule it. I'm starting to get uncomfortable, so the clomid seems to be working. We are coming up on two years of trying, so I need all the good luck and prayers we can get!!

So I just had a follow up with my RE and it turns out I'm perfectly healthy and fertile... if only we could say the same thing about DH! She cleared me to start unmedicated IUIs next month - I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic!

Catching up after a long weekend away!

@lovehope: I’m so sorry to hear about AF. This is indeed a very exhausting thing to go through, which is why self-care is so important. That includes forgiving yourself for all of your NORMAL feelings, especially when people close to you are having kids! It’s okay to be jealous, angry, etc.

@2farmmoms: very exciting! Best of luck with your IUI!!

@crystal: Ugggh that’s so frustrating. I’m really, really hoping it’s just wacky temps and that you did O. I think your positive OPK might be your best indication that you did. I don’t know if you should get a clear thermal shift on clomid, I don’t even bother tracking temp when I’m on it – it was reallllly high the day after I started taking it (and I’m being monitored w/a trigger shot so didn’t rely on temping to know if I O’d). Hopefully you'll get some answers in your 7dpo lab results!

@hellonheels: That is the worst. Insult to injury. I hope you at least had a little extra fun at the party!!

@libbylou: Congratulations!!! I love seeing good news on this board! I’m on month 13 too

@northstar: Sooooo many happy, warm, and lucky thoughts coming your way with your first IUI! Good luck!!!

@ms.line: That is great! Now you can focus on the right next step for you and DH without worrying about what your body is doing every month. How are you feeling w/this cycle?

  18. HellOnHeels

    clementine / 899 posts

Thanks for the sympathy everyone lol! DH did his SA today so hopefully those results will be in soon. My CD3 blood draw was an absolute shit show... Took 3 different techs and 6 pokes before my veins gave up any blood. Both arms are so bruised right now! Body does not want to cooperate...

I was kinda surprised AF didn't show up yesterday (9DPO) and I had a bad backache. I have a million Wondfo tests that came with my OPKs, so I figured I'd use one up this morning. Confirmed with a old box of FRERs still in the shrink wrap. I'm feeling kinda crazy right now, tbh! Really afraid it won't be sticky, especially since my last TSH test was high. Haven't even told my husband yet!

AFM CD9 and will start OPKs. I've been O'ing CD14-CD17 as of late so still have a week or so away. Hoping we can time it well this month.

I did my trigger shot last night and am pretty uncomfortable today. The clomid is definitely working as I am getting twinges mainly on my right side and have been all yesterday afternoon and this morning. IUI is tomorrow morning..hopefully, the trigger shot lines up ok with the IUI. It's so hard to know when to time it, but I just followed my RE's directions.

@ms.line: Congrats! We were overdue for a BFP on here. What did you do differently? I'm especially interested since we both have MFI.

I got food poisoning yesterday from lunch, so had to go home from work and stayed home today(never happens for me). I'm so paranoid that everyone thinks my nausea is pregnancy-related.

My temp didn't go up like it usually does CD16 or 17. I took my temp a bunch of times, and got varying numbers, so DH is convinced that I ovulated normally and I need a new thermometer. Of course it happens on the key days. This cycle I did femara and metformin. I did femara for 1 cycle last year and O'd CD14 (my baseline is CD15, occasionally CD14). I'm having lots of angst wondering if I did O and when.

DH has a repeat SA later this week (hoping morphology is drastically improved). I also got a RE appt 7/3- I'm happy since we don't have to take off work. Let's hope I need to cancel it.
