@septca: Thanks for moving my poas date! The good thing is that our timezone is a day ahead of America so the board won't have to wait as long for a result

@MrsStar: so hopeful for you dove!
@septca: thanks for the dust! I am trying to think that way too. Fertile thoughts!

@MrsMccarthy: the cycle before my BFP was annovulatory and it was shorter with a light period. Fx for you!

@Mrs.Panda: thanks for chiming in! My OB said that there was a physiologic cyst ( thats the good kind that releases an egg) in my right ovary when I had my ultrasound done so she said my body was trying to do something but I have a feeling my hormones wouldn't let it.

Trying to catch up with everyone and comment is frying my brain at the moment.
CD11. Usually O CD15, but taking progesterone during LP makes things a little more questionable. The plan is at least every other day, and will try to hit Friday-Saturday-Sunday. Conceive plus came today (yay amazon prime!) so we will see. I am trying to drink lots of water and green tea.

@MrsStar: I hope to see your name at the top of the list this weekend!
@MrsMccarthy: SO thankful for good news! Your BFP is just around the corner - I can feel it!
@AmeliaBedilia: Can't wait to hear how you like Conceive Plus!
I hope this board blows up with BFPs soon!

@septca: yes for next cycle I want to really understand my cycle. I'm tired of guessing.
Thanks everyone for the input! I'll definitely use digital opk's next go around and try to read that book.

@Crystal: Loved your comment about your DH's understanding of pregnancy. That's just too funny.
@MrsMccarthy: So glad you got good news today! It's really reassuring to know that there's not anything that *should* prevent you from getting pregnant. Also, happy belated birthday!

@AmeliaBedilia: good luck honey!!!
@HeartAbandoned: thank you! 7 is a lucky Number! ny son was born on the 7th. You are so kind. I hope up are right. I hope we see a rash of back to back BFPs with no end in sight!
@intotheocean: FX!
@sapphire: thank you sweetness!

@MrsMcCarthy: Congrats on the good news! I hope this leads the path towards your BFP this month!!
I got a call about my blood work today and have some questions I'll need to get answered tomorrow. The Dr told me that my prolactin levels (which she expected to be quite high due to still BFing) were at levels she would usually see in a woman who was rarely BFing or had recently weaned. I'm not sure what that means, since I was still BFing about 4x a day when I had the blood draw. She seemed to think it was normal though...but just something I need to ask, I guess.
She also said to wean, try for 3 months, and then call if I wasn't pregnant. She also said though, that she would consider doing other bloodwork if I could show her evidence that I was Oing each month (like through using OPKs). This is information I definitely thought I gave her at the appt, but maybe I missed it?? Anyway...a call in the AM is definitely needed.

@MrsMccarthy: So glad you got good news about your results, I have my fingers crossed you'll have your bfp asap
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Keppa: That's great news about the prolactin but I am sure you are wondering then why your LPs have been so short. My doctor mentioned something about ovulation occurng but not being strong enough. So it could be other hormones at work as well. Did they check your thyroid, iron and progesterone. As far as LPD it can be so many factors. It will be interesting to see if my LPD ends post weaning. God i hope so!

I am finally done with work and can start enjoying vacation!
I really hope we see some BFPs soon, we need them!

@MrsStar: Thank you! I hope you are right and we can be pregnant together again.
@Crystal: Hooray!! happy vacation! may this rest be the bringer of your bfp and happier days.

@dc yoga bee: Happy birthday!
@Crystal: Enjoy your vacation!
I had read a study about probiotics improving fertility, so I started them today in the "why the %^& not?"

@AmeliaBedilia: Amen to that! I keep telling myself if only we could have sex ten days in a row we'd be pregnant by now. Um, not happening!
Eta: and thank you!

@dc yoga bee: LOL. I keep forgetting to tell you that I have a work trip to DC in October. I am so looking forward to it!

@MrsMccarthy: @MrsStar: @dc yoga bee: @AmeliaBedilia: thanks, friends!
One of the main differences between the month I got a BFP and every month since is that I was relaxed. Although this isn't during my fertile week, I'm hoping I get to relax a bit!
@AmeliaBedilia: I'm feeling kitchen sink-Ish right now too, why not at least try, right?
@dc yoga bee: we have been hitting 6 or 7, I don't know if we could do 10!!!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: fun!! Let me know if you need suggestions of places to go/eat. There are more dc bees as well!
Tomorrow is cd 10. No really, can we just have sex the next ten days and be guaranteed a baby? No, not so much??

YOU GUYS.
I finally got a neg opk test instead of having a 7th positive day. YAY! Lol
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@dc yoga bee: I wish, but no guarantees. Two or three months ago we did from O-5 through O+2, and nada.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@intotheocean: are you getting positives or nearly positive! That just seems like a long surge! Are you confirming with a digital?
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@intotheocean: wow! That is a long surge!hopefully, it means you had extra time to catch that egg!
@Crystal: I can't. My ladybits would need a vacay after all that. I salute you girl! Three days in a row is our max. Hence we usually stop O-2 and O-1 for some reason. We just get so hankered out.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@dc yoga bee: seriously, I practically needed to ice them after 8 days I'm a row. Then we took a two week break, lol.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Crystal: ah you poor thing! Okay, maybe we can pull off every other day. If I ovulated earlier it would be easier. What's that? I felt a twinge on my left side. Maybe it's early ovulation! I kid I kid.

@MrsMccarthy: and @Keppa: My ovulatory cycles pre-weaning were definitely "weak." I am not sure how to describe it, except it seemed like my hormone levels were not high enough/strong enough to give me a good O - I had fewer O symptoms, a shorter LP, and more spotting before I weaned. I was getting + OPKs and having a true cycle, but it was a much wonkier type of cycle than I am used to. I will say, however, that it got better each time I dropped a feed.
@AmeliaBedilia: Yay! That sounds like a great plan!! Let us know when you are going to be in DC - we can plan a get together. We'll all be rubbing our bellies my that point.
@Crystal: For serious. Let's get those BFPs started.
@intotheocean: Congratulations! That's great.
Re: the timing discussion, timing BD with a toddler, 2 full-time jobs, and a *life* is ROUGH. I spend so much time around O playing with the timing analyzer on FF - I try to figure out the best ways to get a "good" or "high" rating without completely exhausting myself. It looks like this cycle is going to be O-5, O-2, O-1, and O OR O-3, O-2, and O-1, depending on when O happens and how hard I try to make tonight happen.
And you guys know how I feel about O and O+1 anyway, so I am not worried.

@Crystal: they were all darker than the control line until last night and this morning, they were lighter. I'm going to use digitals next month.
@dc yoga bee: I'm not too hopeful this month! Last month I had a perfect 28 day cycle, and this one is so crazy! I've been having regular 28-30 day cycles since December so it's so weird!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@intotheocean: I don't know what the deal with your cycle is, but just as an FYI - my doctor says it's totally normal to have an annovulatory or wonky cycle every now and again (she said the average is about once a year).
honeydew / 7295 posts
@septca: I hope beyond hope that that's what happens to us. My only concern personally is that even after dropping feeds te most I saw was a days increase. That's why I'm also doing this cleanse and trying to lose some weight (I have about 10 extra pounds on me 6 of which I put on TTC).
@dc yoga bee: I'm with you! Exhausting! The most we have made it was 4 straight days and that was so hard. To make matters worse our son won't go to bed until the sun goes down and lately that's 9pm here so the only way we can DTD I by putting a DVD on for him and sneaking away for 30 mins.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@intotheocean: I hope the end of the surge means a soon to be end to this wonky cycle and a better one with a BFP ahead.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@intotheocean: Funny to be so happy about a negative opk. I once had four days of positive opks with the digitals i use. I was so bothered that i called the company and complained my pack was defective.

A friends water broke and she is giving birth today.
I am so so happy for her, but so jealous... She started trying *After* we did.
I am kind of ashamed of my reaction... I shouldn't be as jealous as I am.
Just had to get it out there.

@Crystal: That's okay. Just let all your green, seething envy out here. We can take it.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@septca: thanks. I knew you all would understand. ️
She's previously recommended to just try and see what happens, don't worry about temping and all that jazz, as all that stress isn't good. She truly means no harm, she just doesn't get it.
It's been hard to watch her over the last nine months. I have nothing but love for her, but that green eyed Monster gets the better of me sometimes.
