My doctor told me to use ovulation tests so I bought some and my SO is 3 states away till Tuesday....and pink pad told me I was supposed to ovulate yesterday so I decided to use a test just to see and of course it came out positive! So mad!!! Ugh I guess we will try again next month! Atleast I know I'm ovulating though!

A positive test could mean ovulation 24 or more hours. I would DTD as soon as you see him!

I would still do the deed when your hubby gets home! The test just means ovulation is going to happen soon, not that it already has. And you can still get pregnant after you ovulate too

Yeah, you're not totally out! Just dtd when he gets home. You get the positive right before you ovulate...not during.

Still get busy when he gets home! I got 2/3 days of positive OPKS. It's worth a try!

I also thought that the positive test meant you had not yet ovulated. Once you get a negative test, then you can assume the ovulation happened sometime between your last positive and that first negative. Am I right, girls?
And at least you got a positive. I'm still waiting for mine this month!

@Hismrskisses: i would still jump him if i were you when he gets home...i think from when you get a positive OPK you have about 12-36 hours for actual ovulation...

Did you get positive OPKs for the past 3 days? Are you sure they're positive and not just really close? I know a lot of us have trouble deciphering them initially.
