It's been 2 days since I woke up to pump and i have some mixed feelings! Zoey is 4 months and without the middle of the night pumping session, I am producing just the amount she needs--maybe 1oz. less. I'm nervous about not having any back up milk and compromising my supply in general. But sleep....glorious sleep......It's been so long since we got together for this long!
Anyone else give up the midnight pump?

Hehe... I remember when I gave the middle of the night pump up!! Life is about to return back to "normal", are you ready??? 
congratulations!!! And my milk supply stayed consistent when I gave up the middle of the night pump. I just had to wear extra nursing pads

I never did the middle of the night pump 
She woke up enough that I didn't really need to.

Sleep does feel great! I never could give up the middle of the night pumping session or I wouldn't have enough milk.

I still pump at midnight every night and LO is up around 630, which works out pretty good. It's tiring but I'm afraid of my supply going down. LO is 13 weeks and I'm pumping enough to keep up with her bottles during work hours and still freeze 4-6oz every day.
I'm wondering - what happens when her intake goes up. Do I need to add a session to keep up? How do I increase supply without increasing the number of sessions?

@elisat: i don't know. I am working under the mindset that i will always have enough and she will let me know if she needs more, either with crying or less diapers. So far so good at
19 weeks.

Sigh, I did the 3am pumping thing for a year and I'm not looking forward to doing that again!!! Congrats on having sleep again!!!
