Did you order adhesive labels for your baby's bottles for daycare? If so from which company and how do they withstand washing? I feel like a cave woman because I just used a permanent marker to write her name on the outside of her playtex nurser drop-in bottles. Ofcourse now I realize that the permanent marker was a bad idea since its fading off, thankfully I wash her nipples separately and use a liner for the bottles so none of the ink gets contact with her milk. I also realize that other bottles at the daycare have cute little labels, so I would love to have something similar. Any recommendations woud be great!

I use these: http://www.mabelslabels.com/products/sticky+labels. They never come off in the wash!

mabels labels... they're still on my DDs stuff 4 years later... they don't fade in the wash at all but can also be peeled off easily if you want them to come off.

@Mrsbells: yes they are in Canada, but they shipped just fine. perhaps it took a little longer than usual though, if I recall correctly.

Oh ok cool and one more question did you put LO's full name on the label or just first name and last initial? for instance Jane Emily Smith, versus Jane S.

@Mrsbells: I personally put her full first and last name. But now that I have #2, I sort of wish I just put our last name so it lasts through both kids. But then again they're not totally expensive, if I recall correctly, so I guess it's not a big deal to re-purchase... just a little annoying though for when/if the time comes and I have to take off the labels... cuz I sort of went crazy labeling her gear and tags on clothes too

The daycare we use provided one set of labels and I was able to label all of DD's stuff but they didn't seem to stick well to some items so I just use a permanent marker now.

I used this company based on a recommendation from HB for water bottles for our wedding.
You can run them through your printer and they have held up really well on her daycare bottles. I don't think they have the small sizes, but I just cut them out by hand.

Also, in a bind, the blue painters tape works GREAT!
