Hi everyone. LO started daycare yesterday and I need some bottle advice. She is EBF. We started practicing with bottles a few weeks before I went back to work and she takes them like a champ. She has never eaten more than a 3 oz bottle at a time and never acted hungry after eating one.

During her first day yesterday I sent four 3 oz bottles, thinking she'd probably only eat three. She ate all four, and the staff thought she seemed hungry afterwards and suggested sending more milk. She did nurse a lot on Monday and Tuesday before starting daycare, so I thought maybe it was a growth spurt.

I sent four 4 oz bottles today and she ate all four again! Problem - I never get enough milk when pumping for her to eat four 3 oz bottles. I almost always get exactly 3 oz when I pump - which seemed perfect because that would exactly replace the bottle that she ate.

So... do I push back and ask them to try with the 3 oz bottles and her paci, or do I keep sending 4 oz taking some from the freezer stash? Is it her 3 month growth spurt that will likely pass and she'll go back down to 3 oz? Is she eating more because she's in a new place and it's comforting? Should I call her pediatrician and ask him?

And yeah, sorry for being that crazy mom I swore I'd never be...
