When I was pregnant, I assumed that I'd have to pump in the ladies room or an empty conference room when I went back to work. Then I learned from a coworker that the company provides a lactation room! I was so surprised because we don't even get free coffee at the office.

I go back to work next week (sob) and visited the office yesterday to pick up the room key from my colleague. The room has two small booths with curtains, and each booth has a Medela Lactina pump, chair and footstool. There's also a sink and a mini fridge, so everyone can wash their pump parts and keep milk somewhere other than the communal fridge in the break room. And there's even a bulletin board where moms put up photos of their LOs.

Seeing the set-up made me feel incrementally better about returning to work. For those of you who pump at the office, do your companies provide dedicated space to do it? What do your rooms look like?
