Wow, 2-7p seems like a really long stretch! Sometimes my lo won't actually sleep during her 3rd nap but will fuss and then hang out by herself in her crib for 40 min-1 hr. So yes, the 3rd nap is hit or miss for us too.

- we start bath at 7 pm

He naps 3 times.. 10, 1, and 4.. Longest nap is at 1

On Saturday we have swim lessons and gynboree so naps are a little different and he only naps two times.. 10 am for 3 hours and 4 pm for 40 mins. So we drop a nap on Saturday.

@winniebee: we started at 4 months an the first few he gave us pouty face. But today he actually laughed and had a good time. I think it's a matter of getting used to swim lessons. The best thing is he's exhausted afterwards and naps like a champ. I think it's good to start young so he has no fear of the water. He dunked his head in the water today and laughed. Some of my friends kids scream because they hate getting their head wet. I highly recommend swim classes young. :).

My lo needs at least four hours between her last nap wakeup and bedtime if I wAnt to be able to get her down.

My LO is 7.5 months

Wake - 7 am
First nap. - 10 am
Wake - 11:30-12ish
2nd nap - 2pm
Wake - 3-4ish
Bed- 7 pm

LO is 7 months.

Wake up 7:30
Nap 1 9:30-11
Nap 2 1:30/2-3:30
Bedtime 7:30

He needs to be awake for 4 hours before bed if I want him to sleep well! Also, I just got him on this schedule like a week ago after a long struggle with dropping the third nap.

@winniebee: it is, but it can be rough keeping him awake for 4 hours!

Last nap between 5 and 5:30
Bedtime is between 7 and 7:30

She is 8.5 months old, sleeps through the night until 7:30-8am

@caffeinated: I have LO eat dinner like an hour after he wakes up from his nap, so sometimes that means like 4pm!

Her last nap is at 6pm for 15-45 minutes.
She goes to bed at 8pm
She is 3 months old

hm, seems like most of you have at least two hours between the end of the last nap and bedtime. anyone push it more than that at 5 months?

DD (7 months) dropped the last nap around 6 months, so she is up from 2ish til 7 most days. It drives me crazy but daycare can't get her down at. 4. On weekends, she'll still take 3 naps for us but I suppose it's just too loud/ busy for my nosy, busybody DD!
