I have found that I have a constant leak while I am nursing my son. I use the breast pads when I am not nursing but during a feeding, I feel like I have sprung a leak
Any tried and true solutions, or will a small towel become my best friend?

If I were you I'd buy one of these so you don't waste that milk you're leaking!!

I just kept a towel on hand. Pressure can make it stop/slow it down. After a a while everything evened out and I stopped leaking.

It will! The leaky phase will end, in weeks or perhaps months. Until then, best to just cope however you can. Or perhaps try one of these milk collectors -

I was gonna suggest Milkies too!
I found that if you apply pressure to the other nipple it doesn't leak!

Mine still does and my lo is six months old! I just keep the other side of my bra up. It isn't enough leakage now to soak through anything.

@Meggo5: ha ha you can tell we had our babies just days apart-every time I come on to post a question I see you've just done it!
I'm insanely leaky, I've soaked poor A's clothes at least twice today!

@travelgirl1- I know!!!! I keep thinking the same thing! It's like all the "rookie" questions!
Poor little A and my C. They keep getting showers from us! C doesn't seem to mind at all but I feel awful. I just am making sure to keep an extra burp cloth around

Oh man, that phase was crazy! It does get better though, but for a while I was shoving a burp cloth in the side I wasn't nursing on.

It took 6 months before I stopped letting down on both sides, but I did use either a nursing pad or a Milkie to catch that liquid gold.

@Meggo5: @travelgirl1: I'm keep seeing posts from both of you that I could have written myself! I was leaking like crazy today even when I wasn't nursing, but this was partially my fault for walking around he house topless (trying to give my sore nipple some air). I was using a cloth diaper in my nursing tank at one point today. It worked, but didn't look that good.

@ChelseaRose: Ha ha, you can tell we all had babies within days of each other! Today I was using the bathroom and both nipples were dripping like a jersey cow. I'm sure I had some glamour about me once, lol.
