Hi ladies - so turns out I may not be unexplained anymore. My doc got the results back from my bloodwork, and I have elevated levels of testosterone and DHEAS. I am on the thin side (bmi of around 19) so I must be a lean "cyster."
I read mixed messages online - some people say lean PCOS is harder to treat with a poorer prognosis for ultimately conceiving and other sources said it was more treatable. I am trying IUI with Femara this cycle and hope that may do the trick for is but I suspect we're on a collision course with ivf.
The doc did say my case is mild, and oddly enough, I have normal cycles (I think) and I could swear I ovulate each month. Very odd. Any insight/suggestions? Thanks guys.
