We are going to a wedding this weekend and we are leaving LO with one of my BILs and his FI after my MIL cancelled on us! I'm totally nervous but they are great with LO and they are expecting their own little one in a few months!
Any tips? Do you leave really detailed instruction lists or are you more laid back when you leave your LO?

Awww... I would be anxious too!! I left lots of detailed instructions whenever we left Wagon Jr. with family members. Like, an hour by hour schedule, detailed step by step for meals and naptimes, etc. They all found it very helpful.. both my mom and MIL would "study" the instruction sheets at night. hehe.

Well the good news is you guys aren't going any where that you'll be unreachable! So you know they can always call you with questions. And it sounds like they are more than capable. It will probably a fun weekend for all three of them!!

@MamaMoose: Ugh! She told me that she gave it more thought and doesn't think I should attend the wedding and leave LO so she decided to cancel! She doesn't have new plans or anything!! 
I was so annoyed but acted like it was no big deal and just asked my BiL if he was available.

Well sounds to me that your BIL and his FI will do a better job than your MIL if she cancelled for the reason she did. Geez.
I wouldn't mind if parents of a LO I was watching left detailed "tips" :-).

That sucks that your MIL cancelled!
I've left LO with DH twice for 24 hours and I leave detailed instructions for naps, mealtimes, etc. I did the same when we left LO with my MIL to go to a wedding (not overnight). I'm sure she thought I was crazy!
