@macintosh: Haha, I ordered some wondfos off of Amazon last month, and now I have this HUGE bag of them sitting in my bathroom and it makes me laugh cuz really, I'm never going to use all of them. (I HOPE)

Anyways, I'm at 5DPO and I'm flippin tired. Yawwwwwn.

  4. Alivoo01

    wonderful olive / 19353 posts

@Bookworm: I'm 8DPO and I've been exhausted the past week it seems. Getting out of bed is a battle, then once I get to work,I have to refrain from going home "sick" just because I'm tired! I'm so lame. ha!

  5. Cherrybee

    papaya / 10570 posts

@Bookworm: Ooh, I've just ordered my first lot of "internet cheapies"! 30 of them! I'm hoping it'll work the same way as lighting a cigarette at the bus stop - you can guarantee as soon as you do it, the bus comes (I've never smoked myself but I've heard loads of people say this).

  6. Bookish

    GOLD / cantaloupe / 6581 posts

@Alivoo01: Aww, I'm the same lately. I'm trying not to over-analyze it, because I figure it's caused by the crazy stress lately. I hope it totally IS a sign for you

@Ali: Haha, yeah, I've heard that too! I hope it is! I was pretty bummed that last month AF came before I got to use any. I want to get my money's worth! Maybe this month I'll get my BFP and DARN, I don't get to use any more

@Alivoo01: did you end up getting a Jenny Renny reading?

  18. Foodnerd81

    wonderful cherry / 21504 posts

@MrsCastro: That was sort of me last month. Our first month trying, DH had a work trip that was almost 2 weeks, with my O date right smack in the middle. It was so annoying because I'd been waiting so long to start trying, and bam. No chance. This month he has a short trip pretty close to O, but I think we should be OK...

  19. Alivoo01

    wonderful olive / 19353 posts

@MrsCastro: No I didn't since my O date was close to when the thread was started, and frankly, I was kind of scared to find out. However, if I don't get my BFP (*knock on wood*) this month, I will.

  20. MrsCastro

    persimmon / 1491 posts

@Foodnerd81: i am pretty sure i will O the first day i am gone...so i will make sure to get plenty of BD the weekend before and at 4am before i leave...LOL, poor hubs doesnt know what is coming to him...

    bananas / 9628 posts

@MrsCastro: hahaha. I'm imagining you attacking DH in the wee dark hours of the morning I promise I stopped imagining at that point though hopefully that will go better for you than it has for me, my DH doesn't like to be woken up... Even for grown up time!

@kpow: I'm sorry! Won't you have another late oct POAS date sine AF graced you before October started?

  23. Bookish

    GOLD / cantaloupe / 6581 posts

@kpow: Aw, I'm sorry! Better luck next month! Maybe the start of the holiday season will get a little turkey baking

Was that too cheesy? I don't care, I liked it LOL.

  24. wahine08

    clementine / 957 posts

@Mrs. Bird: AF came about 4 days early this cycle so I'm a little off and I didn't even think about that! I am so used to seeing AF at the very last day of the month haha. I just checked FF and it looks like I should be able to still POAS in Oct

  25. mrs. bird

@mrs. bird: no worries...it did make me laught too...DH is up to be woken up at any time for "adult happy hour"...when i was on implanon...i really had no desire for sexy time but since being off BC sexy time has made a come back. so he feels we are making up for lost time...plus the man will never say no...

  31. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@MrsCastro: Not sure if this will help you or not but my O date and cycles changed a lot after my d&c. They've gotten shorter but they are still longer than they were.

Congrats on AF though!! I remember that exciting feeling!

November can be the butterball month

  35. mrs. bird

    bananas / 9628 posts

Ladies, I just came to a very exciting realization! Pumpkins smugglers will be in track for Christmas/Hanukkah/kwanza/festivus announcements!!! Last year I remember wanting to get KU on our wedding night so I could announce at Christmas. Obviously that didn't happen, and here I am a year later, hoping for a Christmas announcement this year. I hope we have lots of BFPs & happy holiday news : )

  36. anonysquire

    cantaloupe / 6923 posts

@mrs. bird: how long will you wait til you announce? I'll announce to my DH when I'm 16 weeks so that might be jan or feb?

  37. mrs. bird

    bananas / 9628 posts

@anonysquire: Most ppl KU this month would be ending their first trimester over the holidays, which I think is when most people choose to share. I think I'll tell different people at different times. Like my BFFs & my mom will know before my ILs! I'd tell super close people after hearing a heartbeat ( I believe miscarriage rate goes gown to like 5% at that point) and everyone else after the first trimester. I'm not good with secrets

Is there a reason you wouldn't tell DH right away? I know hubs would want to know, and I think he'd probably notice some changes, not drinking/off limit painful boobies etc

  38. GreenThumb

    pear / 1986 posts

@mrs. bird: I've already thought about the "holiday" announcement, too! I also thought I would get to have this announcement last year, but this year would be great! Because we are doing IVF for this cycle, I'm definitely going to have to tell my parents, sister, in-laws, and best girlfriends earlier since they all know what we are going through and have been a great source of support, but a general public announcement in December would be soooo much fun!!

  39. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@MrsCastro: please change my POAS date to October 12th. That'll be 14dpo. However, that is an assumption because I am not using OPKs, charting or anything this cycle. I did feel more relaxed but I hate that my body still gave signs of O. I was hoping not to know when I was in the TWW.

  40. Bookish

    GOLD / cantaloupe / 6581 posts

@mrs. bird: I know!! I would love to be able to surprise everyone at Thanksgiving or Xmas with such great news!! I know it will be wonderful whenever it happens, but how fun would a holiday baby announcement be?!
