this happened to us too, around 6 months. she didn't have any teeth yet but it still hurt a little bit. i'd tell her sternly "NO BITING" and she would grin with her big gummy smile. i found that she only did that when she was done with nursing. is your LO done, or is it before she finishes nursing?

LO had her two bottom teeth come in a few weeks ago, and last night was the first time she bit me since they first came in...again, it was because she was done and it didn't hurt that much. she again smiled at me when i said no biting. i could be wrong, but i feel like she doesn't bite with full force when she does it, she's just playing.

long way of saying, i don't know how to stop it!

LO did this too. She would grind them, not bite. After teeth she bit a few times, and I figured out she was doing it right before teeth broke through.

@MarieJ: Yep, sounds like what LO did. I think it's probably due to teeth. She'll probably stop when they pop through. Try to push her into your boob to get her to release instead of pulling away. Or hold her nose for a second. Pulling away is the instinct, but it can cause some boob damage :). Teeth aren't bad though. Your LO's latch may change a little, but otherwise you probably won't feel the difference!
