LO is 9.5 months and we are doing a mix of purees and finger foods. For the last month or so she has been going through a phase of blowing raspberries and spraying food everywhere as soon as the spoon goes into her mouth. I thought it would be short lived and decided to ignore it, not give a reaction at all and carry on with the meal.

This doesn't seem to be working and she's still doing it so I've started giving a warning and saying "no, we don't do that with food" and then if she repeats, I get her down from the high chair and tell her meal time is over.

I can't tell if she's doing it because she's not hungry, she doesn't want that particular food or what! I'd love to give all finger foods/BLW but she throws the majority of everything we give her to feed herself onto the floor, hence the purees still.

Did anyone else's LO go through a similar phase? Should I be dealing with it differently?
