DH came running down because he looked at the video monitor and LO was just sitting up in the crib, quietly touching her lovey. She wasn't crying or anything. It's 11pm! I know that she can pull herself up if she's in a sitting position.
I guess it's time for us to bring down the crib mattress.
What do you do when this happens? DH went in and put her back to a sleeping position.

@caffeinated: I'd worry that she'd have trouble falling asleep again, but also that she's learning that if she sits up or fusses... mom and dad will come get her!

LO still does this every now and then and I really do believe she's still asleep...I'll watch her and she'll literally fall over ("timberrrrrr!*) and pass out! LO is 17 months old and just last week she stood up in her crib, walked around a bit, and then timbered again. It was funny/concerning but it was fine.

@mrbee: I am worried about that too. At least now we know what to do for next time.
@Rubies: DH said she looked sleepy-dazed and she just continued to sleep when he put her down. It was freaky seeing her in the monitor...it was like she was possessed!

My LO does this but sits up and cries but is still asleep! He's never put himself back down, so we pick him up. I know we shouldn't.
