PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one that does this I think it keeps me preoccupied during the TWW. Or that is what I tell myself

I almost think it's MORE fun when you're not :)) Atleast from what I hear. I'm sure it's frustrating trying to dress a bump but right now it's sounds so fun!

I did it! And, now that I'm pregnant, I am scared to buy any even though I can't wait for my bump!

Now days theres so much cute maternity clothes and most of it you can't even tell that it's supposed to be maternity so I definitely don't think it's weird.

I always did that too. Now that I have the baby but still have the baby weight... I'm happy to stay away from maternity clothes for a while.

I don't think it's weird but...I'm pregnant and I hate looking for maternity clothes now! I just hear people saying that you shouldn't buy too much too early because you'll grow out of it. But I don't want to buy clothes 2 times for one pregnancy!!!

Guilty as well. I have may purchased two tops. One of them is knitting related, so I went for it. It's red, has a ball of yarn, and says "WIP" which means "Work in Progress." Knitter speak for a project currently being worked on.
I also bought a bit of baby stuff too. Once we started trying, I stopped buying because it felt like a big jinx. Did I mention how I bought an Alcatraz onesie when we were San Francisco!?! Yep, I'm that person.

Not pregnant, about to start TTC, and I have a "cart" of maternity clothes ready to order. I think it's normal to daydream about that kind of stuff. I have a private registry where I keep track of products people have recommended here. So why not figure out what type of clothes I'll need now too?
And I admit I have hesitated buying new clothes lately because it won't fit (fingers-crossed) in a few months.

@oliviaoblivia: I did the not buying clothes thing for awhile. However, I reached a point at about cycle 2 or 3 that I said I need some new clothes. So, I bought them anyway because you don't know how long it's going to take you to conceive.

@carrieknitscake: I know! It's totally a make-believe day-dream land I'm living in. Not to mention that I've picked out all winter maternity clothes! Haha

@oliviaoblivia: haha, you're not alone in enjoying that make believe world! I lived there for a better part of last year dreaming of pregnancy and baby.

My sister actually owns maternity clothes and isn't pregnant. She just finds it comfy and flattering seeing she has a belly.

I look at them too. Every time I see a maternity clothing store I want to go in so bad. But I'd feel like too much of a poser. And my husband would probably drag me away from the entrance. That is what he does now when we pass the baby section in stores.

@Mrs.VW: I used to put things in my shopping cart (online) too. I was really tempted to go into a maternity store and try clothes but I resisted. I've always wanted to try on those bellies.

I looked at the section in catalogues but I never looked in stores, and I didn't go into the stores until I had no choice.

@tana_bk: my DH does too! I told him just once I want him to be excited -- he says when I'm pregnant. Lol.
I looked only because I was nervous about cost! But target, at least, wasn't too bad. I am wary of looking because I live in a small town, if anyone saw me looking I'd be in trouble!

I didn't mention in my previous post that I'm saving a few Old Navy giftcards for maternity clothes. So again, I'm that person!

GUILTY. AND I have to admit that I even purchased a super cute maternity top off of zulily not that long ago. It's really just a banded tank, but I do enjoy picturing filling it out with a bump!
