Congrats to all those who have gotten BFPs recently! I should be close to O day. I'm not charting this month, or taking opks. We had a very limited schedule to meet with our donor because he is out of town from this past Saturday through tomorrow morning. So we did one insemination Friday evening, one Saturday morning, and we will meet again Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening. That should be as close as we can get to good timing. I figured since our schedule was predetermined, this would be a good month to let all the charting go and just "relax" as much as possible when using a donor!
Good news is I had a wonderful appointment with a midwifery group about an hour away. They work out of a birth center, the only one in the area, that I hope to use if and when I get pregnant. They were so nice, and very helpful. They suggested a few easy nutritional changes and supplements, and ran the initial hormone testing. I found out yesterday that everything is within normal limits as far as hormones go, so that is VERY good news! I was really worried something was wrong, or I would have DOR (I'm only 33, but it was in the back of my mind that I waited too long) so I'm very relieved to hear that it's not the case. My vitamin D was low, so they suggested some sublingual drops to supplement that. They were impressed by my hemoglobin levels, given that I've been vegetarian for over half my life and haven't been terribly careful about eating a perfectly balanced diet.
All in all it was a great appointment. I left feeling so much more positive about the whole process. Before the appointment I had a really awful visit with a GP who was rude and clueless, so I had been feeling really down about everything. The midwives seemed very positive about it just taking a little more time, and they said they've had good luck with simple dietary changes helping people get pregnant faster. Worth a try! Can't hurt to be even healthier!!

I'm 99% sure I'm out this month, but despite my super regular, 28-day cycle, I'm looking at day 32 with barely any spotting and a BFN. This is our first month TTC and I didn't expect it to happen on the first try, but I'm annoyed my body isn't behaving like I expected it to. Oh well, on to next month!
