@AprilFool: @travellingbee: Thanks, ladies!
@travellingbee: How are you feeling post-iui?
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@Hoots: Anxious and hungry. Anxious because I want to know what's going on in there! The days are crawling by! Hungry because of the HCG trigger I guess?

Spring break was not a good time to have my TWW! Too much time to sit around googling things. Losing it! Trying not to obsess too much, but I have started a regimen of pineapple core smoothies and baby aspirin to help implantation. Already had acupuncture the weekand I go back next Wednesday for my next session. C'mon baby-- implant!!

@travellingbee: will you post your recipe for your smoothie? I'm thinking of doing the same thing this cycle too
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@wrkbrk: and it worked for you!!!
@NorthStar: I have been doing 1/5 of the core per smoothie, cut up, a few chunks of pineapple, a big dollop of plain yogurt, a handful of ice, a splash of juice and a handful of whatever fruit is around. Today it was blueberries, yesterday mango etc.
I just had some spotting when I wiped. Maybe it's the progesterone? I just started it today (I forgot to start it last night.)

@travellingbee: I've heard about people spotting on progestorone. I never did BUT I used it from 15 - 36 weeks.

@BandDmommy: I THINk I did spot a little last time I used it. Can't remember...

@travellingbee: Are you just buying a normal pineapple and cutting out the core? I might have to try this Although, our inlaws are staying with us from Wednesday - Saturday (when I would need to start this) and trying to explain to them why I'm eating the core (when they have no idea we are trying) might not work..
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@NorthStar: yes- but it's pretty bitter so that's why I blended into a smoothie. I don't think they'd notice much actually. I cut the whole pineapple up and put it into a glass storage container in the fridge and just take a piece out each day.
ETA: you only do it for five days after ovulation!

@travellingbee: oh, thanks for the 5 day tip! I'm hoping this works for both of us!!

@Chaosmaven: just saw this now....congratulations!!!!!!! Can u tell me exactly which b50 u used? I remember seeing different kinds. I think I'll try it in a couple if months. I'm currently on CD23 and no positive OPK yet, not sure what to make of that.

I am going to end up rolling over to April I think. My faint bfp wasn't sticky. Heavy cramping and light af today. Boo. On to the next cycle. Good luck to all the rest of the testers this month!!

@travellingbee: so I was inspired to grab a pineapple at whole foods just now! I'll try out your core smoothie idea this cycle to help any little guys with their burrowing
While we're on the subject of natural remedies, I think I'll start a new thread to gather everyone's tricks on how to lengthen the luteal phase. Mine sucks
@swoggette: so sorry to hear that

@californiadreams: Thank you!! I used the Rainbow Light Food-Based B-Complete, as well as the Rainbow Light Vitamin C Gummies. They were really gentle, no side effects like the Naturemade I had been taking. I only took them after O though, as when I took them before O the first month, they delayed ovulation until I stopped taking them for a few days. But the first month my LP lengthened by 2-3 days, and cut the spotting I was having in half, so I saw an immediate effect (no other changes in lifestyle/diet etc). Are you temping? I dropped OPKs this month, because I had a hard time catching a positive one sometimes.

@YogiRunner: I can chime in on the new thread, but B50 Complex made a big difference in my LP these last couple cycles. I had been having 8-10 day LP with spotting at 6 or 7 dpo, and after the vitamins, it became spotting at 9 dpo and 12 day LP. I know not everyone has reported the same results though, but might be something to try?

@jaguar: fingers still crossed for you
looks like there are still quite a few more ladies on the list before the end of the month, best of luck to all of you

I'm so impatient. You would think after 9 months of trying that I would have gotten used to the TWW. But I guess my hopes are higher after this clomid/IUI cycle. I hope I'm not setting myself up for terrible disappointment. My mom asked me last night when we were going to stop trying if this didn't work. That stung. Anyway, I'm 5 DPO... Tired, crampy and hungry (assumably from the remaining trigger and progesterone) I finished my pineapple regimen, I'm taking baby aspirin and still getting light positives on my Wondfos from the trigger shot. Looks like it's getting close to being out though. I give it two more days.

@jaguar: I didn't get my BfP with Madeline until 12dpo so you never know! I'm still going to cross my fingers for you
