@RsMom: hi and welcome!!

@Locavore_mama: My mom and I run a home daycare (at her house) so I can take care of dd along with the rest of the kids. But she does get clingy sometimes when I need to be doing something else- like make lunch, or change someone else's poopy diaper. So that can be tricky. Overall, it's been a great arrangement for us.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Seems like a bunch of us all have kids around the same age group and can relate to one another.

@My Only Sunshine: it's my favorite so far! I definitely feel like she is already displaying some toddler attributes (or should I say bad attitudes? lol) but all in all, she is so much more fun to play with!

@SORRYCHARLIE I know! My husband and I are in the process of closing on our first home (should be the 16th) so things are pretty crazy right now- I just want to nest!!!

@Somebunny: what a dream set up! My old co-worker's wife runs a in home daycare out of their home. It's such a great setup.

I'm also still really new here (less than a month), so I'll go ahead and introduce myself as well. I've been on few threads so far, and I really appreciate how welcoming everyone has been.

DH and I just started TTC and we immediately hit a few bumps, so we're putting the actual "trying" on hold for a few months until we get some answers from my doc. We plan on reevaluating our options and deciding on when to starting trying again after that. I really appreciate all the excellent information and tips I've received so far!

I've been lurking for a bit and starting to post more. Seems like a great place to be!!

Hi All!! I'm a newbee to hellobee.. I migrated here from WB after having our first DD in Nov 2013. It's been a crazy couple of years for us. Got married Sept 2012, bought a house Feb 2013, got KU'd March 2013, had our beautiful baby Nov 2013 <3. I am an older bee (37) as I didn't find my DH until I was 32

I was surprised by having an easy peasy pregnancy, despite chronic high blood pressure. Our birth was induced at 37+4and spanned THREE days so DD was born at 38w exactly.

DD is the sweetest little thing, we are so blessed with her! We constantly say she's a good sleeper, a good eater and a good pooper

I work full time so DD is in an in home daycare m-f. Leaving her was and IS the hardest thing I've ever had to do but she enjoys daycare (we think!) and after being home for 10 wks on maternity leave it was rejuvenating for me to be back at my job. But I miss her everyday!!! She makes every day BETTER!

We plan to have another within the next 2 years.

I'm glad to be here and am hoping to get some good advice/direction on things as they arise.. and maybe I can help some too

Hi there I've just upgraded my membership and have been looking through all the new posts opened up to me.

DH and I have been ttc since Feb 2013 . We have the triple whammy of pcos and endo me, plus DH's low morphology (motorbike accident). I'm having a lap op on 16 July - DH and i arre calling it my "full service" Will be doing ovarian drilling/cauterization, sort out the endo on right ovary and any adhesions plus a dnc. This will hopefully give us the best chance at a successful IVF. We have our first appt with the IVF Doc on 29 June to get the lay of the land and have money in the kitty for 2 rounds. Needless to say, I'm REALLY hoping we only need two tickets to the baby lottery
