Ugh I picked up some bug from my ILs (so did E) and the thought of food makes me want to vomit. I'm trying to keep up my liquids but I can't do more than sip without my stomach turning. I'm concerned this will affect my supply. E's been nursing pretty frequently and I'm hoping that'll keep it up...
Do you think my supply will survive a day or two of me not eating much? Am I worrying for nothing?

My supply takes a nose dive when I'm sick ... best you can do is keep putting LO to breast and drinking what you can. Have you tried gravol or gingerale?

I would say keep up the liquids and nurse often. Hope you feel better soon!!

My supply dipped for about a day but since I was so diligent about fluids, it came right back up again. Hope you are feeling better!

Once supply is established a couple days of sickness shouldn't cause too much of an issue. Just try and stay hydrated & nurse often (try not to supplement just nurse nurse nurse). Your body should default to rely on the prolactin triggers you laid in the early days to maintain & build back supply.
I went through a week of strep & my supply is still here 3 months later. =)
