I thought I would create a board for mama's with LO's who are having sleep problems and regressions so we could not feel so alone about our sleep problems, vent, and share tips and ideas. I have to admit- I get a little bitter when I see LO's the same age as mine sleeping 10-12 hours straight a night! I often wonder if something I am doing is causing the sleep problems since it seems like so many babies younger than mine can go longer at night. To kick it off, I'll go first:

How Old is LO: almost 16 weeks

How Many Wake-Ups Per Night: 2 on a great night, 3-5 on a bad night.

Bedtime Routine: Read book, bath around 6:30, baby massage, dim lights, white noise, nurse, down in crib awake between 7-7:30.

How Do You Handle Wake-Ups: If she is crying a hungry cry, I get up and nurse her, if she is fussing, I often just let her fuss until she puts herself back to sleep. She doesn't take a paci.

Methods You Are Trying/Considering: some days I think she doesn't need to nurse anymore than 2x a night, she is a chunky monkey at 16lbs and I think could definitely go longer in between feedings, but when she wakes up she eats hungrily, so I do not want to starve her either. She goes to bed awake and fusses until she soothes herself to sleep, so I know she is capable of doing so when waking during the night, so I assume she is indeed waking due to hunger still. Interested in CIO, but not sure I am ready to try it yet.
